HERE ARE ALL THE DETAILS ON VARUN DHAWAN’S NEXT, SUI DHAAGA

We all know how Bollywood heartthrobs Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will soon share the screen for the first time in YRF’s Sui Dhaaga but what you might not know is how interesting Varun’s character is in the film and we have all the updates on the same!
Sui Dhaaga will be written and directed by Sharat Katariya of Dum Laga Ke Haisha fame and produced by Maneesh Sharma. The film is slated to go on floors in January 2018. As revealed by an insider, Varun’s character is unlike anything he has essayed before. “Varun plays a labourer, a hired help in the film. His look in the film will be in-sync with his character. The film hopes to raise awareness about indigenous cottage industries here in India and also talks about the dignity of labour,” the source added.
The source also informed on how Varun was fascinated by the manner in which director Sharat Katariya recited the story. “Sharat is so passionate about the subject, his narration impressed Varun enough to say yes to the project,” he said.
Sharat, who has earlier directed Dum Laga Ke Haisha, is known for adding a rustic and earthy touch to his work and Sui Dhaaga promises to be no different.
