Two films with diverse stories and strong casts. But a film that will always be associated with the actor and that which he is know world over for is Victoria and Abdul. The friendship between Queen Victoria and her manservant, Abdul is one of respect, admiration and honesty. True to its story, it seems like Ali and Dame Judi Dench’s relationship is similar too. On September 3rd 2018 the film completes 2 years of filming. The first photos is from Day 1 of shoot where Ali who is playing Abdul is at the Osborne Palace, where Queen Victoria, the real life queen, took her last breath. It is a somber yet stunning image. The second photo is proof of the friendship both on and off screen. Dame Judi Dench truly knows how to strike a pose.
