HERE IS WHAT DEEPIKA PADUKONE HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE FIRE IN HER BUILDING

Yesterday, the fire broke out on the top floor of a high rise building in Worli, Mumbai. It was Beaumonde Towers- the place where Deepika Padukone lives. Deepika stays in the 24th floor of the building while the fire broke out at the 32nd floor. As the photos and videos went viral, fans started panicking about Bollywood's Padmavati's safety.

Fortunately, Deepika was not at home during the time of the accident. She tweeted about the event which reads;  "I am safe. Thank you everyone. Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives."

According to a report in India Today, Deepika visited the building to check if everything is fine. While leaving the building, she also met a few firemen who were working there and spoke to them for a few minutes.

Deepika praised the firemen at work. while exiting the building, Deepika told India Today; "Bhagwan ka shukar hai ki koi causalty nahi hai aur fire brigade ne bahut achcha kaam kiya. (Thank God, there are no casualties, the fire brigade did a great job.) I just came here to check the situation.”

According to a police source, over 90 residents of the apartment complex have been evacuated safely. The reason for the fire is still not clear.
