Shubhaavi Choksey
If there is anyone who is a travel addict, it has to be Shubhaavi Choksey. The actor is a regular traveller and loves to explore different places, her lasts conquest being Istanbul, Cappadocia and Antalya. “We were out for 10 days and it was an amazing experience. Holidays are important for everyone! Whether it is a homemaker or a working person, holidays help you relax, which is exactly what we did on this trip. I love travelling. I get to learn different languages and I also get to taste different types of cuisine. Also what attracts me is the dialect, the same English is spoken differently by the Turkish people. The British pronounce it differently and Americans pronounce it differently. Secondly, I love travelling because I get some time to spend with my family.”Ask her what she makes sure to carry on these trips and she says, “If I am travelling with my son, I always carry his medicines. Touchwood he never uses them. Secondly, shades, sunscreen and moisturiser and lip balm.” Meanwhile, the actor also got a brand new haircut. “People are not recognising me until I smile back at them and that is when they recognise me. Apart from that, people are complimenting my look and they are saying that I look 5 years younger,” she says.
Sahil Anand
Sahil Anand recently returned from an outdoor schedule in Switzerland for his show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actor says that the experience was amazing. “We were shooting for nine days and were travelling for the rest of the two days. The shoot was basically all over Switzerland like Zurich, Thun, Interlaken,.It was my first visit to Switzerland and I really enjoyed it a lot. I have always seen Switzerland in films and I wanted to go there.”Sahil has always been a fan of outdoor shoots. “I have already shot outdoors for my previous shows and movies, the experience has always been mind-blowing. I always get to learn a lot of new things with the new team. I really love outdoor shoots as you get to see different locations and get to go to new places also. I just love the experience and I hope to go outside more often now,” he says. Not only did Sahil love Switzerland, but Switzerland reciprocated that love as well. “The reaction was very good. I have been to many other countries but in Switzerland, I saw that people were really very affectionate towards us. There were a lot of tourists and all of them knew us. There was a restaurant which was being run by a person called Baba. He was such a good person and was a big fan. Parth, Erica, I and Pooja ate there and he just took half of the amount. He gifted shawls to Pooja and Erica and to me and Parth, he gave energy drinks. He was very helpful. One thing which I saw in Switzerland was that people were doing something extra for us, other than just taking pictures and going. This not only happened in these restaurants but in others too where there were Indians and Afghanis. They were helping us out of the way and were there for us,” he says.Sahil feels completely rejuvenated after the trip. “It was mind-blowing. The best that I have experienced recently. I hope that whenever I go out for shoot, I feel as fantastic and rejuvenated as I have on this trip. Switzerland is extremely beautiful. I feel the freshness of Switzerland has had a feel-good effect on me.”
Aastha Chaudhary
Aastha Chaudhary travelled to Canada on her birthday. “This was my solo trip, and I have planned this on the occasion of my birthday. It was an amazing experience. Every year, I go on a trip. I am never in Mumbai on my birthday. I never get excited on my birthday and for me, it is just like any other day. So, I prefer staying alone. I go to the temple too on my birthday. And I call all the elders of my family and seek their blessings.”
Jasmin Bhasin
I love to travel alone because I feel it is the most important for a person to able to spend time alone with himself or herself. When you are alone there's nobody to influence you, that space which you get for yourself helps you evolve mentally. The more you spend time alone with yourself, the more you analyse yourself and get a perspective of your life. It brings more awareness within you which is the most important thing. The last place I went alone was Singapore. I always had Europe in my bucket list. I visited Disneyland Paris where I went as a kid, again. It was like reliving my childhood days. Also, I visited the Eiffel Tower, Seine Riverside, Amsterdam and a few monumental places. The beauty of the place is that you are not a stranger to anyone, people treat you with such warmth, you don't miss home. When you are in Paris where there's love in the air, you don’t need a partner.
