HERE'S ALL THE DETAILS ON SONAKSHI SINHA AND DILJIT DOSANJH'S NEXT

Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh who were gearing up for a film based on IIFA have teamed up again for a film directed by Chakri Toleti. The film which was initially titled Golmaal In New York has found a new title and the reason is Karan Johar. Karan Johar who is reportedly doing a double role in the film didn't agree to the former title as he is best friends with Rohit Shetty. Rohit Shetty is known for the Golmaal franchise and using it would cause copyright infringement and also upset Rohit. This made the makers change the title of the film from Golmaal In New York to Gadbad In New York.

A source told media, “Karan gave the makers an ultimatum. He made it clear that if they called the film Golmaal in New York, he wanted nothing to do with it. In fact, KJo said he wouldn’t even come on set because he respects Rohit and didn’t want to upset him at all.’’ The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and talking about it the source added, “Of course, Bhagnani too saw reason in the whole Golmaal v/s Gadbad argument and on his own opted for Gadbad.’’

Noor actress Sonakshi Sinha has already finished shooting for the film and talking about it Sonakshi said, “The film is a lot of fun. It’s releasing early next year. The title has not been finalised yet.”

But it seems that title has now been finalised and it's tentatively titled as Gadbad.
