The 65th edition of National Film Award ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. 137 awardees were honoured with the award across categories. Out of these, 11 received the award from President Ram Nath Kovind, while Union Minister Smriti Irani presented the National Award to the rest of the winners. Apart from that, there was a second lot, which included posthumous recognitions for Vinod Khanna and Sridevi for Dadasaheb Phalke and Best Actress respectively.
