HERE'S THE COMPLETE LIST OF WINNERS AT IIFA 2017

One of the biggest, prestigious, and most-watched film awards of Bollywood, the International Indian Film Academy Awards (popularly known as the IIFA Awards) were held in New York on 14-15th of July and as always, the who's who of the industry came out in big numbers. It was the first time in 18 years of the of awards that the award ceremony took place in the picturesque New York City. The show was hosted by Bollywood's godfather Karan Johar and actor Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan, who also took home the comic actor award for his role in Dishoom, joined them for a segment. The winners of the IIFA have been announced and here’s the complete list of all the people who took home the prestigious trophy:

Best Film: Neerja

Best Actor: Shahid Kapoor (Udta Punjab)

Best Actress: Alia Bhatt (Udta Punjab)

Best Director: Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (PINK)

Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male): Anupam Kher (M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story)

Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female): Shabana Azmi (Neerja)

Best Actor in Comic Role: Varun Dhawan (Dishoom)

Best Debutant Male: Diljit Dosanjh (Udta Punjab)

Best Debutant Female: Disha Patani (M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story)

Best Performance in a Negative Role: Jim Sarbh (Neerja)

Woman of the Year: Taapsee Pannu

Best Music Direction: Pritam (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil)

Best Lyrics: Amitabh Bhattacharya - Channa Mereya (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil)

Style Icon of the Year: Alia Bhatt

Best Female Playback Singer: Kanika Kapoor (Udta Punjab) and Tulsi Kumar (Airlift)

Best Male Playback Singer: Amit Mishra (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil)
