HERE’S WHEN RAJNI’S 2.0 TRAILER WILL COME OUT!

Fans have been keeping their fingers crossed for Shankar’s much-awaited, Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer, 2.0. The film was earlier scheduled to release on Diwali. Later, because of the quality of VFX being done on the film, the makers accepted the fact that they’ll need more time to give it the quality complimenting the massive budget of ₹400 Cr. Thus, the release of the film was re-scheduled from Diwali to 2018 Republic Day.
The team of 2.0 recently announced a special surprise for fans who are eagerly looking forward to the film. According to a report published on Bollywoodlife.com, the first teaser of the film will be unveiled on Diwali. As for the trailer, the makers have planned another special occasion for the launch. According to DNA reports, the trailer of the film will be released on the auspicious occasion of Rajnikanth’s birthday, that is, Dec 12 in a grand event being planned in Chennai.
2.0 is the sequel to Shankar’s blockbuster movie Robot (Enthiran), which was released in 2010. The movie already holds the crown for being the most expensive film in Indian history with a budget of around ₹400 cr. The satellite rights of the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of the film have been sold for an astronomical figure of ₹110 cr to Zee Entertainment. Rajnikanth will be seen reprising his double role as scientist Vaseegaran and Robot Chitti Babu while Akshay Kumar will be seen locking horns with the megastar, playing the antagonist. The film will also feature Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Riyaz Khan in important roles.
The film is slated to release on Jan 26 and will be clashing with Neeraj Pandey’s espionage thriller Aiyaary, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee.
