HERE'S WHY DEEPIKA PADUKONE WANTS TO KEEP HER PADMAAVAT'S CLIMAX SCENE OUTFIT

Deepika Padukone starrer magnum opus, Padmaavat crossed the milestone of Rs 300 crore at the Indian box office. But this is not the only reason the film is very special for Deepika Padukone. Besides the fact she became the highest paid actress, she was also praised for her outstanding performance in the film not just by the audience but especially by many big Bollywood stars like Jaya Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.

The last climax Jauhar Scene of the film was one of the major highlights of the film and was also the most difficult part for the actress. That's the reason the actress went to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and requested him to give her the outfit (the beautiful red lehenga) that she had worn for the climax scene.

According to a leading daily, Deepika said  "Padmaavat, in its entirety, has been a journey that will stay with me forever. The climax sequence, especially, has been the most intense, challenging and memorable scene I have ever done. And to commemorate those moments, I’ve requested Sanjay sir if I could keep the outfit that I wore."
