HERE’S WHY VARUN DHAWAN WILL HAVE TO GET AN NOC FROM ALIA BHATT FOR JUDWAA 2!

How is Alia Bhatt related to Judwaa 2? Why does Varun need a No Objection Certificate from her? And where does CBFC fit into the picture? These are some of the questions you might be asking yourself after reading the title. Read on for the answers.
According to a report in Bollywoodlife, Varun Dhawan can’t talk about his dear friend Alia Bhatt without getting an NOC from her. Yes, the CBFC asked Judwaa 2 director David Dhawan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala for a No Objection Certificate when Varun made a passing reference to Alia in the film. “They wanted an NOC from Alia before she can be mentioned in Judwaa 2. Nadiadwala and Dhawan argued that Alia was his buddy and therefore it wasn’t going to be a problem. But the CBFC was adamant. Friend or foe, you have to get an NOC from all living persons who are mentioned in the film.”
Apart from Alia, her father Mahesh Bhatt and veteran actress Poonam Dhillon is also mentioned in the same film. The Judwaa 2 team must also get an NOC from Mahesh Bhatt and Poonam Dhillon because both of them are too mentioned in passing.
Well, we thought that after the sanskaari Pahlaj Nihalani had been sacked as the chairperson of the CBFC, things would change for the better, but clearly, nothing seems to be happening. We wonder what Alia and others would have to say about this.
