Hero Ameet Kumar shines in ‘Love You-Loktantra’ -satirical realistic ‘poli-tickle’ musical comedy movie

With his swag-aura, wearing a western cowboy hat and designer dark-glasses, macho star-actor Jackie Shroff ( the chief guest, along with Javed-saab Akhtar) emerged the ‘scene-stealer’ at the star-studded event to launch the chart-busting music-songs of Hindi movie ‘Love You Loktantra’ - Chaitanya Padukone

Directed by Abhay Nihalani, eminent composer Lalit Pandit ( of Jatin-Lalit fame) has scored the original songs written by genius writer-lyricist Sanjay Chhel. Which includes a raunchy item-song by Haryanvi sensational dancer Sapna Chaudhary , a disco-anthem picturised on agile dancer Krishna Abhishek and a fabulous romantic song picturised on lead hero Ameet Kumar and heroine Sneha Ullal ( yes, the same charming actress who was tagged in the past as an Aishwarya Rai look-alike).

Incidentally, the songs except for one are choreographed by innovative mascot dance-master ‘Lollypop’ ( Sanjay Pradhan) who is known for choreographing the all-time sensational song ‘Ae- Kya Bolti Tu’ sung by and picturised on Aamir Khan.

The glittering galaxy of turn-out at ‘Love You Loktantra’ was very impressive. Besides the two chief guests the celeb-cast comprising Isha Koppikar-Narang, Sapna Chaudhary, Krishna Abhishek (with his stunning actress-wife Kashmera Shah), Ali Asgar, and actress-model Madhavee Lawre who plays a pivotal role in the movie won the attention of the news-media.

Star-singers Amruta (Devendra) Fadnavis, Shaan and Abhijeet and special celeb-guests like Poonam Dhillon and Amar Upadhyay also added their charismatic presence-quotient to the well-organised evening event.

Which started at 7pm and concluded by around 9.30 pm. Which is quite unusual in Bollywood otherwise known mostly for its late-night event-parties that are in full swing even past midnight.

Defying her real-life glam-hottie-image style Isha Koppikar-Narang for the cast time, is cast as a dynamic deglam yet gutsy political leader-‘MLA’, while versatile actor Ali Asgar plays a riveting role which has recall-value. .

Shares Ali Asgar, “ Its an amazing role of a exuberant news-anchor, which has shades of reality and impactful dialogues’, and who knows the ‘daav-pech’ of getting ‘breaking news’. My dare-devil character even wears a seductive female ‘get-up’ during raunchy song situation to achieve his news-anchor mission,” laughs Ali-bhai Asgar.

If you watch the teaser-trailer and fabulous songs of the upcoming movie ‘Love You Loktantra’ , you will find it hard to believe that its debonair super-confident lead-debut-actor Ameet Kumar is otherwise an eminent professional practicing leading lawyer who has his reputed firm. Of course his legal profession actual name is Ameet Mehta and for him movie-acting is currently more of a passion-deviation.

The unassuming, ever-smiling Ameet has this witty, sense of humour, when he says jestfully that ‘even in his legal profession he is often required to do ‘natural-acting’—that too with no retakes’.

Being a leading lawyer who is extremely busy attending to court legal cases Ameet who is politically connected shares that “it was literally a situation of taareekh-pey-tareekh, crisis, when he was not able to allocate shooting dates for his own movie ‘’Love You Loktantra’ .

Honestly, it was much easier for me to enact my screen-character of a ‘lawyer’ in our movie which is all set to release on September 2, this year. Audiences may get intrigued to observe that some portions of the satirical dark humour content of our movie may appear very topical, relevant and contemporary with a realistic connect to the current political scenario-system .

But it is all purely coincidental, because our movie plot was conceived long ago and mostly shot during 2020, when the corona phase was going on,” clarifies ‘lead-actor’ Ameet Kumar who is already getting acting offers for more movies.
