The film will be written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar while it will star Subodh Bhave, Gauri Ingawale and Upendra Limaye in the lead roles. Enthused Manjrekar, “ We need to revive and boost the overall confidence in our Marathi movies amongst all sections of audiences.. Like the way how Kannada cinema has done with the dubbed ‘KGF’ super-hit movie. As is evident, Marathi Cinema has always been appreciated for its brilliant, innovative creative content”.
Interestingly, charismatic actress-model Mrinal Kulkarni will be directing a cheerful engaging entertainer called ‘Phakt Mahilan Saatthi !?’ to be shot during April mostly in a metro-train compartment on locations in the U.K. which also features the popular actress Sai Tamhankar and three other actresses. While charming actress-director Mrinal will not be facing the camera, this time, there is every possibility that she may put in a brief passing ‘cameo-role’.
While multi-linguist Johnny Lever seemed delighted that he was working with close-buddy director-actor Paritosh Painter in a movie ‘Three Cheers’ which has three languages Marathi, Hindi and English, he shared jestfully, yet seriously that these seven movies launch will prove ‘hum kisi sey kum nahin !’ ’
Meanwhile Punjabi-speaking charming film and TV star actress Shweta Gulati seemed excited that she was making her debut in a situational comedy Marathi movie in ‘Three Cheers’ as a sweet NRI Maharashtrian girl ‘damsel-in-distress’ who has returned from abroad who is helped by three wannabe detectives “ Of course, I will dub my own dialogues in a Marathi because my fans recognize my voice, it will be a creative challenge, plus it’s a trilingual movie with ensemble comedy cast co-stars Siddharth Jadhav, Vijay Patkar, Bharat Dabholkar, Johnny Lever and writer-director Paritosh himself who has also acted in this Three Cheers movie,, “ shares Shweta Gulati who is “super-excited playing a ‘negative-grey-shades’ role for the first-time, in this new Zee TV daily soap show ‘Main Hoon Aparajita’”
On a parting note, multi-talented Paritosh Painter with his futuristic vision is delighted that his seven-movies-launch event has created regional cinema history and also hopes and prays that all his creative and commercial dreams including a studio-model are all fulfilled.
