HOLLYWOOD CALLING FOR SHANTANU MAHESHWARI

Dancer-actor Shantanu Maheshwari who had been living it up in Spain, shooting for the 8th season of the adventure-reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, is back in the bay. And now the multi-faceted performer is all set to fly away again, this time with his dance crew to the United States. Shantanu's dance troupe has been invited to Los Angeles to showcase their dancing chops at the 2017 edition of the World of Dance. This is the second time that his crew has been invited for the mega event after their previous appearance in the 2015 edition. The actor, proud of the crew's achievements, took to Twitter to make the announcement.

Shantanu who garnered huge popularity with his character of Swayam in Channel V’s Dil Dosti Dance shared his excitement by saying, “First time around we were nervous as we had to battle it out. We’re excited and thrilled to have been invited to showcase some of our dances there. Making India proud back then was a surreal feeling. It has sunk in now and we only want to do better and showcase our dance across global platforms. This is an opportunity and also an added responsibility."

Back in 2015, 'Desi Hoppers' had won the World of Dance Championship, becoming the first Indian dance crew to bring the trophy home.
