Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi's film 'Rashtra Kavach Om' was released in theaters on July 1. Aditya Roy's Fans had high hopes about the action thriller film but the film did not live up to the expectations of the fans.

The film 'Rashtra Kavach Om' earned Rs 1.25 crore on the first day at the box office, on the second day, the film earned Rs 1.70 crore. The total collection of 'Rashtra Kavach Om' at the box office including the weekend is almost 4 crores.

If this film gets flopped at the box office then it would be Aditya Roy Kapur's fifth flop after 'Kalank', 'Ok Jaanu', 'Fitoor' and 'Daawat-e-Ishq'. So far Aditya Roy's 'Aashiqui 2' is the only movie released in 2013 which has been seen breaking records at the box office.

Let us tell you that there was a big-screen clash between the films 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' and 'Rashtra Kavach Om' in cinemas on July 1. 'Rashtra Kavach Om' is a hard core action movie, on the other hand Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is helmed by R Madhavan which is based on the biopic of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.

The film 'Rashtra Kavach Om' has been directed by Kapil Verma, apart from Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi, big actors like Ashutosh Rana, Prakash Raj and Jackie Shroff are also seen playing important roles in this film. This film is produced by Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan.
