The long-delayed and controversial film Padmaavat is released in theatres today and exactly after one year, the biopic debut of Hrithik Roshan which is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar is also set to hit the theatres on the same date.
The biopic on the Bihar-based Mathematician Anand Kumar, titled Super 30, which was earlier set to release on November 23, 2018, gets a new release date to avoid box-office clash with Karan Johar's production venture and the second instalment of romantic-drama Student Of The Year starring Tiger Shroff. The makers of Super 30 postponed the release of the film to 25th January 2019 after KJo announced the release date of SOTY 2, November 23, 2018.

The biopic is based on the life of Bihar-based mathematician Anand Kumar who started a program called Super 30 for less privileged Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) aspirants to crack its entrance test. The film directed by Vikas Bahl is co-produced by Reliance Entertainment and Madhu Mantena's Excel Entertainment.
