When I look back at my childhood, I remember my days in school as my parents had changed my school to one which has an American syllabus and it was a co-educational school. Those were the best days of my life. We had so many extracurricular activities like basketball, singing and sports. I made so many good friends and those were the best days of my life.

I spent my childhood in Shimla. I will never forget that day when the door of the house got stuck due to heavy snowfall and we removed the snow from the door and made a way to go outside. We saw such a beautiful landscape. That time there was no pollution, so it added to the charm of the scenario. I would like to cherish that beautiful landscape.

One vision that I get from my childhood is my old place in Jankapuri, New Delhi, where we had a 3 storey house. From our balcony, we could see the long Palam Hawai Adda and from the left side, we could see the whole tail of the aeroplane. We spent a good amount of time watching that and that was a delight for us. But now there are no such sight as many buildings have been built so I would like to see that sight once again and enjoy if I get back my childhood

I visualize myself sitting with my grandfather, younger brother in a garden called Chambal Garden which was located in Kota. This is a very popular place where kids can only go. So, our grandfather would take us to that place every Sunday so we could play and do boat ride. I think those were the most beautiful days for me. Every Sunday was the happiest day for me as I used to get a treat and would enjoy most of the day. I wish my grandfather were here and see where I am today

One visual that I see in front of my eyes is playing cricket in the house lawn with my younger brother. It feels like I have spent half of my childhood doing the same thing. I would like to do the same thing if I get a chance.

When I look back at my childhood, I see my home. Whenever there was Gurupurab, there would be a Kirtan and langer in our home. Many friends and my family members used to come and we used to sing Gurbani together. After that, we used to serve langer. I will always remember that and I would like to enjoy this memory again if I get back my childhood.

If it would have been possible I would have loved to spend time with my mother as I miss her too much. I miss that warmth, compassion and security. Waking up in the morning to see her face reading the Koran, saying her prayers, then getting us ready for school just like an angel watching over us. It is said “ the best part of your life comes first” and that’s childhood.

I miss my Nani. She used to take me to school walking and that was the best time I use to spend with her. She would buy me chocolates, toys and used to pamper me so much. If I get my childhood back, I would just be with her. I would go to the circus where she used to take me and then come home and have some yummy seafood that she used to make for me

When I look back in my childhood, the visual that I see in front of my eyes is playing with my teddy and playing doctor with my friends. I also want to relive my school life where we used to share our tiffin. The life where we had no tension and would enjoy to the fullest. If I get back my childhood for a day then I will spend the day playing with my friends; eating candies, ice cream, chocolates and enjoying to the fullest because this time will never come back.
