HUMA QURESHI IN PINK DIRECTOR'S NEXT?

After getting featured last in the movie Partition : 1947, the Gangs of Wasseypur fame, Huma Qureshi is now in talking terms with director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Aniruddha is popularly known for his movie Pink. The duo was spotted in the city allegedly after a meeting which gives the hint of the two collaborating for their upcoming project.

There were even other actresses like Bhumi Pednekar and Malika Sherawat who were also seen exiting from the same restaurant. Earlier, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury was in talks with Priyanka Chopra for his second outing. But that project didn’t go beyond a few discussions.

Now according to a leading daily, a source close to the director confirmed that the director is now working on another script, which is almost ready. And for the leading lady, he has approached Huma Qureshi to be a part of the movie.

“Huma and Aniruddha met a few times, and have spoken at length about this project. It’s a hard-hitting drama based on a real-life incident. In all likelihood, the movie will go on floors this year and an official announcement is expected soon," the source added.
