“I Don’t Throw Tantrums But My Co-Stars Do”, Confesses Ileana D’Cruz

The latest multi-starrer comedy flick’s ensemble cast that includes John Abraham, Ileana D'Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Urvashi Rautela, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda is setting out major squad goals. The group that overdoses on laughter and insanity set the house on fire when they came together for the upcoming episode of By Invite Only on zoOm, airing today on Saturday, November 23 at 7:30 pm.

In a #NothingToHide conversation with Renil Abraham, Ileana spoke her heart out about her temper and the situation that made her walk away from the set. “I have a horrible temper. Once, I saw a situation getting to another level on the set as my co-star was being a bit of a jerk and I didn’t want to get into a confrontation. So I just walked away from the set. I don’t throw tantrums; my co-stars do”, says the actress. Arshad recounts a similar incident in his work life and says, “I never get angry and I never lose my temper ever but this one time I did and lost it so I walked out, waited for some time, calmed myself down and came back.”

Pouring their hearts out on advices they have received so far in their journey and their take on it, John was first to say, “I don’t take anyone’s advice outside my trade very seriously. I believe in self-conviction, you have to do what you have to do.” Pulkit was quick to add, “Someone once told me, we should rehearse and do the reading. I’m not that kind of actor who believes in a lot of rehearsals and a lot of reading. I like to be spontaneous on set” and Arshad adds, “I’ve been advised very often by a lot of people to be little more social, to go out little more, go to parties and meet people. I can’t do that; I love my little home.”

From advices to pet peeves, everything was discussed in this laugh-out-loud conversation. Kirti shared the one thing that annoys her the most, “For me, it has to be the volume in which I’m or anybody has been spoken to. If I notice that somebody is not spoken to with respect, I will interfere there also. That’s the problem in my head.” 

Moving swiftly to the much loved quickie round that once again brought out the best from the guests, Ileana shared the weirdest rumour she heard about herself and said, “That I committed suicide. I was on a holiday with mom and sister, when I came back there was a huge barrage of messages!!” Sharing that one idea that changed her life, Urvashi revealed, “I refused to be a part of Ishaqzaade and followed my gut feeling to go for Miss Universe.”
