IIFA Awards 2022 gets postponed, now will be held in July

The International Indian Film Academy Awards Show (IIFA) has been postponed now due to the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on May 13. Due to this tragedy there will be a 40-day national holiday in the United Arab Emirates and along with this IIFA and the Indian film industry have mourned his death.

The 22nd IIFA Awards Show was scheduled to be held from May 19 to 21, now the International Indian Film Academy has issued its statement saying- 'IIFA has decided that the 2022 IIFA Awards will be held from 14 to 16 July 2022 and all the updates related to this will be shared soon, IIFA makers have also apologized to all the fans and ticket buyers for this inconvenience.
