In a letter sent to The Federation of Western India Cine Employees by T .P. Aggarwal, President, IMPPA, he has stated thus. “IMPPA is enclosing herewith letters dated 24-6-20 and 25-7-20 in both of which the scam being done by FWICE in projecting itself as the only representative and mother body of 5 lakh workers having over 32 affiliates of associations of various trade unions and crafts which both facts are basically false and baseless as conclusively proved in our enclosed letters but on the basis of these falsehoods, FWICE is continuing to try to control all the worker related activities of the entertainment industry.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has strictly restrained the FWICE from imposing member to member working, vigilance and imposing penalties of the violation of member to member working but in spite of strict and final instructions of CCI and our numerous reminders, till date they have not circulated to all producers associations as well as their affiliates the undertaking given by them to the Competition Commission of India (CCI) that as per their instructions, they will cease and desist from enforcing member to member working, vigilance and imposing penalties of the violation of member to member working.

Even though the ruling group had the support of only 11 out of 20 affiliates in the elections in 2018, they have created 13 more affiliates consisting of only their near and dear ones just to ensure that they can continue to rule over FWICE which fraudulent behavior can never be allowed and hence we have asked them to cease and refrain from behaving in this manner and to cancel the affiliation of the fraudulent affiliates failing which we shall have no option but to approach the Registrar of Trade Unions, Income Tax authorities, courts of law and all other concerned government and other authorities to take action against them”.
