Pratiti and Shweta nailed their fusion performance that showcased Lavni and Bharatnatyam steps.

Contestant Pratiti Das and her choreographer Shweta Warrierdanced to the song "Pinga" from "Bajirao Mastani” and were lauded by one and all for bringing together two entirely different dance forms to bring out something unique.

They even got a 'seedi' ovation as the ultimate mark of appreciation on the show. As Malaika Arora put it, "the combination was a winner.”

Geeta encouraged Shweta to continue her streak of showcasing Street O'Classical, and said “it is important for the new generation to learn about the beauty that lies in Indian cultural and folk forms.”

Sachin particularly pointed out the nuances with which the two girls managed both dance forms.

"In one form, you don't have movement of the waist, and the other form cannot be complete without movement of the waist.

So, to bring these two forms together, is very difficult, but you did it very well," said Sachin.

He also explained that the term Lavani originated from the word Lavanya, which means beauty.

And he complimented the Super Dancer contestant duo for doing complete justice to it with their act.

The elegant and evergreen couple – Sachin & Supriya Pilgaonkar was sporting enough to do an impromptu jig on the behest of Super Dancer judge Geeta Kapur.

Sachin also shared an anecdote about how Lavani remains special to Supriya and him. It so happens that it was this Maharashtrian folk dance form because of which they met in the 1984 film "Navri Mile Navryala".

Pratiti who got extremely happy with the judges’ comments, shares her experience of learning a new dance form.

She said, “I find it extremely challenging to fuse Lavni with Bharatanatyam, but Shweta Didi helped me a lot in learning and I am sure under her guidance I will learn a lot more things.”
