Our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always supported the film industry and the benefits of sports, he has discussed methods to take them on a higher level. Today, on the occasion of the PM’s birthday, the film fraternity and sports personalities have taken social media by storm to wish him. From actors, filmmakers to cricketers, celebrities have expressed their gratitude and warmth towards our Prime Minister.

South Superstar Rajinikanth took to his official Twitter and shared, “Respected dear @narendramodi ji, Wishing the tough man in you more strength during these tough times. Happy birthday.”

I remember it was the late Dev Anand who had personally introduced my friend Boman Irani and me to a friendly Shri Narendra Modi when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he had taken a few scribes from Mumbai to cover the premiere of his film Mr Prime Minister at Ahmedabad. Frankly, I never even dreamt that a day would come when the same Chief Minister of Gujarat would helm the affairs oif our country as its Prime Minister, literally taking a leaf from the title of Devsaab’s film Mr Prime Minister.
