India's Largest Youtuber Bhuvan Bam Releases His Newest Music Video 'Bas Mein' Today

After taking the country by storm with a video that has clocked over 20 million views in under a week (aka Johnny Sins interview on Titu Talks), India's biggest YouTuber Bhuvan Bam has released his original music video 'Bas Mein' on BB ki Vines, MTV and JioSaavn. With over 500,000 hits on JioSaavn in under 24 hours of its audio release, the song is already climbing charts as one of the most searched tracks on the platform. 'Bas Mein' is also hugely popular on Tik Tok and YouTube already, with celebrities and fans going gaga over its fast-paced composition and youthful lyrics. The music video has garnered over 5.2 million views in 2 days on YouTube, 3.5 million views on Tik Tok and is also trending at #3 on YouTube. The 5th song to be released by creator Bam (who is heralded as the golden boy of Indian YouTube), 'Bas Mein' follows the success of Bhuvan's previous music releases such as Raahguzar (6.5 million views), Safar (11 million views), Sang Hoon Tere (12 million views) and Teri Meri Kahani (14 million views), each of which have a deep personal connection with the digital star. In fact, each music video released by Bhuvan on BB ki Vines has a huge mass appeal and continues to climb on the view radar, months after its release.

The colorful video is styled to personify a comic book feel and is themed around a small town guy aka Bhuvan Bam who is scared to fully commit to his girlfriend, portrayed by actress Sharmila Sharma (of Dulha Wanted and Dilliwood fame). A fun, club track that showcases love in the millennial era, their love story unfolds in the video as Sharma is seen chasing Bam to spend a romantic evening with him, which an evasive Bam shies away from because, Tu joh nahi hai apni hadh man, bas mein..."

Written and composed by Bhuvan, 'Bas Mein' is the first video that he has ever rapped in, something that has pleased his fans immensely. Coupled with signature choreography, that is touted to become the go-to party floor move for Indians across the nation, this would also be the first music video where Bam and two of his digital characters  Banchod Das Chatriwala aka Bancho and Sameer Fuddi share screen space. Bhuvan's music prowess is being highly appreciated by critics as well, as seen during this 'Guncha Koi' rendition on MTV unplugged earlier this month.
