That’s because a galaxy of legendary playback singers including Amit (Kishore) Kumar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sudesh Bhosle supported by popular concert singers Priyanka Mitra, Mohammed Salamat and Neelanjana Ray will be seen performing ‘live’ in designated cities in Australia and New Zealand on 22nd, 23rd and on 29th April 2023. Their mesmerizing melodies will be accompanied by a ‘live’ symphony orchestra with eminent senior cine-musicians, being conducted by maestro Pyarelal. During 2022, Laxmi-Pyare successful live international concerts were organized during May 2022 in various cities across mainly USA and also in Canada and eight months later on 15th January 2023 in Mumbai. Enthuses illustrious composer-arranger-conductor Pyarelal,“ It gives us a great sense of joy, to perform live and re-connect with music-loving NRIs in Sydney, Melbourne and of course in Auckland ( at The Trusts Arena) and bring back nostalgic musical memories from our repertoire of evergreen retro-Hindi film songs. As part of our concert-playlist, we are also planning a surprise special tribute to iconic revered melody-queen Lata-Didi Mangeshkar.” Musical genius Pyarelal continues, “As a bonanza-surprise, we have also lined up a medley of soulful and peppy songs from Hindi movies, which had fetched us seven Filmfare Awards. It's a long-awaited lifetime foreign tour for us, as we are entertaining the awesome cities in Aus-NZ after almost three decades,” shares virtuoso violinist-pianist Pyare-bhai-‘Pyromaniac’(as he is fondly called due to his grand flaming style of music). Mumbai-based noted impresario-convenor Anil Bohra is looking forward to the ‘A-NZ’ Laxmi-Pyare concerts.“ Need to also acknowledge the timely support of our main international promoters-collaborators including Mehboob Haider, Kazim Kazi, Neeraj Mishra and Rohit Trivedi without whom these A-NZ foreign concerts may not have materialized,” insists Bohra. It was a matter of ‘national pride’ for both Indians and NRIs, when some years ago, unassuming Pyarelal was greeted with thunderous standing ovation, by discerning Germans and foreigners at Leipzig for his original classical symphony called ‘Om Shivam’ ! This symphony was conducted on stage by prominent musician Kristjan Jarvi.
