In this show, she plays the role of Aishwarya, a woman who abandoned her daughter 20 years ago. Now, this daughter has returned as a chef in Aishwarya's restaurant, but neither of them knows about their relationship. The show revolves around what happens when they finally meet and discover the truth about each other. Recently, Mona Vasu gave an interview to Maya Puri Magazine, where she discussed the story of the show, her character, working with Ayesha and Adnan, and many other aspects. Let’s take a look at what Mona had to say during the interview. You are playing the role of Aishwarya in this show. Aishwarya has a distinct personality and status. What can you tell us about this character? I am really excited about this show. My character is very strong and powerful. There are so many shades to Aishwarya that I haven’t explored before. When I read the script, I often wonder if she could really do this or that. There are some things that I can’t even think of, but Aishwarya finds them perfectly justified in her world. As for her shades, she is very soft inside, but she keeps her emotions hidden. She shares a father-like bond with her father-in-law. Also, she is very serious about her work and pays attention to the smallest details. For her, emotions don’t matter much. She has worked hard for everything she has and she doesn’t want to lose any of it. That’s why she abandoned Mannat. Do Aishwarya and Mannat know about each other? No, neither of them knows about the other. For Mannat, Aishwarya’s identity is a secret, and Aishwarya has no idea who Mannat is either. She simply doesn’t want any poor people in her restaurant because she herself comes from a poor background. Mannat, on the other hand, has no clue about Aishwarya’s identity. However, as the story progresses, they will find out the truth about each other. How that moment will unfold, how it will be filmed, and the emotional journey they’ll go through is something that the audience will look forward to. Your character is negative. How are you feeling playing this role? Yes, my character is negative. As an actress, this is a great opportunity for me. Talking about the character, when I first started playing her, I used to wonder who could act like this. But the truth is, there are many people like this around us. It’s a reality, and I think I’ve captured that essence through Aishwarya's character. This show has a massive setup, unlike anything we have seen before on TV. What are your thoughts on this? I don’t think any show on TV has ever shown something like this before. The idea of a restaurant and kitchen setup is very difficult to portray, especially in a daily show. You need fresh ingredients and vibrant colors every day to maintain the continuity, which can be quite challenging. In this setup, portraying high-intensity drama that involves family relationships and hidden secrets from the past is something I’ve never seen before. I believe this is a huge challenge, and it’s only possible because Colors has brought this idea to life. I salute them for that. Adnan and Ayesha are also part of this show. How has your experience been working with them? It’s been really fun. I like both of them very much. My first shoot was on the day of the promo, and I was really happy because I thought since I’m playing the role of a mother in the show, I would get that kind of love from the team. But they are very professional. They know what they have to do, and they are fully committed to their work. Both Adnan and Ayesha speak their lines very well. I think the casting for this show is perfect. I don’t think anyone could have played Mannat better than Ayesha, and the same goes for Adnan. On set, Adnan plays his role of Vikrant so well. Even though they are professional, they make sure to care for everyone around them. What message would you like to give to your audience? The promo has already got the audience excited. I would just say that I’ve never done a show like this before, and I don’t think you’ve ever seen a show like this either. So, please do watch it. It’s airing from 6th January, Monday to Friday at 10 PM. We are eagerly waiting for your feedback.
