Anurag Kashyap's 'Bad Cop': Humor, Action, Romance, Thrills

Directed by Aditya Dutt, 'Bad Cop' is a thriller series in which director and producer Anurag Kashyap will be seen in the role of a villain. What kind of feedback are you getting for the trailer of 'Bad Cop'?

Gulshan- I have no idea about the feedback because I am busy with promotions.

Harleen- I have seen the trailer myself, I am very happy because the trailer is very interesting. The background music in the trailer adds a feel to the trailer. I myself have seen it four to five times.

Gulshan- The trailer is really fun.

What did you find most challenging in your role?

Gulshan- Playing a double role is technically challenging for me because many times you are acting with yourself. Acting by looking at a tennis ball or a stunt double is a bit difficult. The action in this is also very technical. You have to do the things according to where they are marked, you cannot move them here and there. This is always a challenge and quite difficult too.

Harleen- For the first time I got a chance to work on a project that had some dialogues. I had seen such things in films but had never done them. There was a bit of struggle in giving it a personal touch, not doing it the way I have seen. I did not face any struggle in action, rather I enjoyed doing action a lot because I got a chance to do action. It was also a bit difficult to match Gulshan's level of acting. When you have such great actors, then you get inspired by them and do good work.

In the opening of the trailer, Anurag Kashyap's character seems to be very thrilling. What would you like to say about it?

Harleen- I love watching Anurag Kashyap when he performs as an actor. I have seen the trailer so many times that I have memorized all the lines. I enjoy watching Anurag and Gulshan on screen. Both of them are very fun actors.

Gulshan- Anurag Kashyap acts well and directs well too. If he does it with a little more dedication, his acting will be even better.

How was the experience of working with Anurag?

Gulshan- It was a lot of fun working with him. We sat and chatted a lot in between the shoot. I have worked with him as a director and he has also been my producer. I have known him since 2008 but I had never sat and talked with him like this. I got the opportunity to do that for the first time in this film. Harleen- I did not meet Anurag Kashyap face to face this season. In this season, I am still a petty thief, in the next season when I become a big thief, then I will face him.

What would you like to say to your fans and viewers?

Harleen- Our show 'Bad Cop' is coming on Disney Plus Hotstar on June 21. Humor, action, romance, and thriller, everything will be seen in it. Watch our show, enjoy it, and give us your feedback.
