Arfeen Khan Evicted from Bigg Boss: Calls It a Birthday Gift for Wife

This week, life coach and author Arfeen Khan was evicted from the Bigg Boss house. After his exit, he sat down for an exclusive interview with MayaPuri magazine, where he opened up about his eviction, Sara’s emotional breakdown, his relationship with Chaahat, and much more. Here’s what he had to say:

• You’ve been evicted from the Bigg Boss house. How do you feel about your eviction? Do you agree with it?

"No, I absolutely don’t agree with this. It was a shocking decision for me. Everyone in the house was surprised when I was evicted. I never expected it. We all thought that Bagga Ji would be evicted, but that didn’t happen. My eviction turned out to be my wife’s birthday gift."

• We saw Sara have an emotional breakdown and lash out at everyone. When your eviction happened, she was devastated. Don’t you think if you were there with her, she would have been able to handle it better?

"It was a tough time for her because she was already in shock. At that moment, she was talking to Rohit Shetty sir about her emotions, and she was very emotional. When I was evicted, she completely broke down. She was crying, very upset. But I know my wife, and I believe there are two things that will happen: either she will go completely silent, or she will bounce back with more power. I’m sure she will come back stronger because the only reason she joined this show was for me. I trust her, and I know she’ll handle it."

• Sara’s anger and violence during that time seemed wrong. What’s your take on it?

"People think she got angry because of the task, but that’s not true. A few days before the task, she was being taunted and mocked – called a 'dog' and a 'witch,' and her actions were being mimicked. I recently found out that Isha said I was having an affair with Chaahat. When Sara was talking to Salman Khan, I saw them laughing and mocking her behind her back. That was painful, especially when these three people were supposed to be her friends. She had a very good bond with Vivian, and besides that, she had connections with Alice and Isha. Even though Avinash was bothering her, Sara never nominated him. During the task, Vivian heard Alice, Isha, and Avinash talking about her and said that Sara had raised her hand. But he hadn’t even seen it himself. Sara couldn’t believe they were all trying to bring her down. I think she was genuinely upset with Vivian."

• Alice and Isha were talking about your relationship with Chaahat, calling it a 'father-daughter' relationship. What do you have to say about that?

"I just found out that they’ve been saying bad things about my relationship with Chaahat. She’s like my little sister. She’s a good girl. In the first week, I was against Chaahat and said she was fake, but I was wrong. She’s a strong girl, and she’s not afraid of anyone, not even a superstar. If anyone attacks her, she has the power to defend herself. I heard they were saying it’s a ‘husband-wife’ situation. What Sara did, losing her temper and shouting, was wrong, but nobody asked about the reasons behind it. No one cared to understand her history, her journey."

• A lot has been said about your profession. How do you feel about that?

"I don’t have any issues with that. My profession is different. People think I’m a therapist or a coach, but I’m not. When Salman Khan spoke to me, he had a certain perception. But I don’t get into people’s past or future. That’s not what I do, and I don’t care about it."

• Who do you think will make it to the end of Bigg Boss?

"My wife, I hope she stays till the end. Apart from her, Rajat Dalal deserves to stay. He’s an honest man, and he’s shown real change in his past. He’s a great inspiration for the whole of India."

As of now, the remaining contestants in the Bigg Boss house are Sara, Vivian, Rajat Dalal, Shilpa Shirodkar, Shrutika, Chum Darang, Karanvir Mehra, Avinash, Chaahat, Isha, and Alice.

Arfeen Khan’s exit has left the house with many unanswered questions and intense emotions, especially for his wife, Sara. The dynamics within the house continue to shift, and it will be interesting to see who emerges victorious in the upcoming weeks.
