The journey of Bigg Boss 19 is a unique experience for every contestant. Recently evicted housemate Natalia Janoszek spoke candidly with Mayapuri journalist Shilpa Nalamwar. During the conversation, she opened up about her eviction, her bond with Mridul Tiwari, her friendship with Baseer Ali, and the role of Abhishek in her journey. Natalia believes that inside the Bigg Boss house, relationships are tested in their truest form, where the line between friendship and strategy becomes very clear. She also shared that although her journey lasted only three weeks, it was a very special and memorable experience for her. Let’s dive into her interview…
- How would you describe your journey in Bigg Boss 19?
I don’t consider three weeks to be a short journey. If you look at past seasons of Bigg Boss, some contestants were evicted within a week. I feel I could have stayed longer, but the timing wasn’t right. Because of Mridul Tiwari’s counting, I got nominated, and I was up against three big influencers.
- Do you think Mridul was responsible for your nomination?
Absolutely, Mridul was 100% responsible. He gave up counting way too early. I knew he was a funny guy and could get distracted easily. It’s just a game, so I have no hard feelings, but yes, he was the reason I was evicted.
- Mridul once told you that you talk to men in different ways. Did that statement disappoint you?
We didn’t have long conversations because I speak English and he speaks Hindi. But I felt he was a little jealous that I was talking more with other guys. This show is meant for interaction and connection. I always kept things light, sweet, and fun.
- In one task, when the beds were sealed, you said Baseer gave his bed to you. At that time Mridul wasn’t there for you?
Yes, Baseer Ali was always supportive. But when I needed support, Mridul wasn’t there. When Mridul got hurt, I was always by his side, but later Abhishek accused me of not being there for him, and Mridul didn’t stand up for me either. That really hurt me.
- Did you feel that Mridul’s friendship was fake?
I wouldn’t call it fake, but yes, there were several times he didn’t support me. For example, in the Captaincy Task, I voted for Amaal Mallik instead of him, and people blamed me for it. But the truth is, he missed a vote anyway, which is why he didn’t become captain. At that time, I felt Abhishek was more dominant than Mridul as captain.
- Your bond with Baseer was also much talked about inside the house. What would you say about that?
Yes, it was surprising for some people. But our friendship started in the second week itself. He always supported me, and since we had similar backgrounds from doing shows before, we connected easily. He did express his feelings, but I felt it was in a friendly way. It’s hard to give a big name to any relationship within just three weeks.
- According to you, who has the potential to go ahead in the competition?
I definitely see Mridul Tiwari in the top 3 because he’s funny, charming, and has massive fan support. Apart from him, I think Gaurav Khanna is playing a very smart game. As for the third spot, it’s hard for me to predict right now.
- Finally, what would you like to say to your fans and audience?
I truly want to thank all my supporters from the bottom of my heart. Even though my journey was short, this is not the end, it’s just the beginning. I am so grateful for all the love I received. Thank you so much!
