Bigg Boss 19: Pranit More Exclusive: “If I Didn’t Win, Gaurav Was My First Choice”

The journey of Bigg Boss 19 has finally come to an end, but as soon as he stepped out of the house, Pranit More opened up about his experiences. Securing a spot in the Top 3 and winning the audience’s hearts, Pranit described his journey as a mix of highs and lows, friendships, misunderstandings, and valuable lessons. He spoke candidly about his bond with Gaurav Khanna, the immense love he received from Maharashtra, his differences with Malti Chahar, and the expectations of his fans. How was your journey inside Bigg Boss 19?

I never expected to enter Bigg Boss, but once I went inside, I genuinely enjoyed it. In the beginning, I felt a bit hesitant, but as I started receiving love from Maharashtra and the rest of the country, my confidence grew. I always stayed real and never got into unnecessary fights. Reaching the Top 5 was a big achievement for me, and being in the Top alongside Gaurav bhai made it even more special.

Did you expect to reach the Top 3 or win the show?

Everyone hopes to win, of course. But even reaching the Top 3 made me very happy. The love from people is my biggest victory. I made mistakes in the game, but I learned a lot from them.

What would you say about Gaurav Khanna winning the show?

It was a proud moment for me. If I couldn’t win, Gaurav bhai was always my first choice. His win felt like my own win.

How was it meeting Abhishek Bajaj today?

We didn’t get to talk much, so maybe he’s a bit upset. But disagreements are normal in friendships. I will talk to him, and I’m sure everything will be fine.

What do you want to say about your differences with Malti Chahar?

I always try to be honest with my friends. If any joke of mine hurt Malti, I had apologized even inside the house. Maybe we didn’t get the right moment to clear things up on the show. I hope things become better outside.

Has Malti forgiven you?

Maybe not yet, but even when she spoke to Salman sir, she said there’s not much left in her heart anymore. On TV, everything looks bigger than it is, but once the show ends, things become easier. I believe with time everything will be fine.

Do you think Farhana Bhatt reaching Top 2 was fair?

Everyone has their own strategy. If Farhana reached the Top 2, the audience must have liked something about her. The show runs only on audience choice, so I consider it fair.

Your fans are upset that you didn’t reach Top 2 — what do you want to say to them?

I feel grateful that my fans had such high expectations from me. But everyone roots for their favourite contestant. It was a game — and it’s over now. If they still believe in me, I hope they continue supporting me ahead.

The people of Maharashtra supported you immensely. What would you like to say to them?

The love from Maharashtra made me emotional. I never imagined people would accept me so wholeheartedly. I will always be grateful and honour this love for the rest of my life.

After the show, who among the contestants will you stay in touch with?

Everyone had different strategies in the house, so clashes were bound to happen. But life outside is different. I will always stay connected with the people I considered friends, and with the rest, everything will settle once we meet and talk.
