Birthday Bash on Set: Shruti Ulfat Celebrates Amid ‘YRKKH’ Family

The enthusiasm for Diwali and birthday celebrations in the TV industry this year was on full display. Renowned producer Rajan Shahi and his team organized Shruti Ulfat’s birthday celebration on the set of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”. The entire unit came together like a family, creating a joyful atmosphere. Shruti cut the cake while everyone congratulated her. Rajan Shahi personally fed her cake and presented her with a bouquet.

Shruti’s Look:

Shruti Ulfat looked stunning for the occasion, wearing a lovely olive green lehenga. She accessorized with a heavy red necklace and bangles in red and other colors. Her hair was styled in a low bun adorned with hair accessories, enhancing her graceful look. Though she wore her on-set costume, she looked elegant and radiant.

All the show’s cast members were present, including co-stars Samriddhi Shukla, Rohit Purohit, and Urva Rumani. They clapped, cheered, and celebrated Shruti’s special day. Actress Anita Raj embraced Shruti and fed her cake, while Samriddhi Shukla also offered her a slice.

Shruti’s Thoughts on the Celebration:

Speaking about her birthday celebration, Shruti said, “I feel wonderful celebrating this day with my entire team. We all live like a family here, spending 15-20 hours together daily. When we go home, these are the last faces we see, so this celebration isn’t just mine—it’s ours. The atmosphere here is very positive, everyone is happy, and the motivation to work is always high.”

She added, “Often, people want a holiday on their birthday, but I feel lucky to shoot on set. After COVID, we’ve come to appreciate work even more. Coming to the set every day and laughing and talking together is itself a celebration.”

Rajan Shahi Speaks:

On this occasion, popular producer Rajan Shahi said, “It feels great because we are not only celebrating festivals together but also Shruti’s birthday. Our team shares a 26-27 year-long bond. When I was an assistant director, Shruti was acting in my boss’s show. Working together and celebrating after so many years is really special.”

He further added, “In today’s TV industry, where shows rarely last more than two or three months, our show has completed two years. It is the blessing of God and the hard work of our team that we continue to receive the audience’s love.”

“Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” celebrates not only the actors’ birthdays but also festivals together. Just before Diwali, the team performed a puja on set with producer Rajan Shahi. During Ganesh Chaturthi, a Ganpati idol was placed on set. These celebrations highlight the deep connection among the cast. The team always finds time to celebrate festivals together, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere on set.
