This interview shows that Chandra aka Rashmi is putting Mehndi on her hands and talking about the show's ongoing track.

The audience loves your character Chandra, how she is, and how bubbly she is, what do you want to say to the fans and the viewers?
So basically Rashmi and Chandra are actually the same, the love between Tara and Chandra that is shown in the show is really different from anything that you would have ever seen. There is no dispute between them and maybe that is why the audience loves them more. We are motivated by the appreciation the audience is showering us with.

Right now if you can see in the frame I am putting mehendi on my hands to shoot a segment.
What would you like to say about the wedding track that is to be shot in the show?
The first thing I would like to show you all is the mehendi which has Dha written on Chandra’s hand. We would have to see who is going to be happy with this Tara, Chandra, or Dhruv. I also don’t know what is going to happen as we get to know as the show proceeds and we get the script then and there at the shooting. I can’t share anything because if I say and that doesn't seem to happen then I will be taken to court! So let us keep it a suspense only.

Rashmi Gupta talks about her new role Chandra in Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare

Would there be any drama at the wedding of Chandra?
I mean of course there has to be a bit of drama or even more, there wouldn’t be any show without the drama! There is something really interesting to be happening in the show!

Rashmi, do you personally like to put mehendi on your hands?
I am not very much fond of it, however for work if I had to then I couldn’t say no! I am putting it after such a long time as even any family functions at home I don’t like to put it. In the show I was doing earlier where I was playing Parvati, they put aalta on my hands so no mehendi was put on my hands for a very long time. The most terrible thing about shooting a show based on the year 1879, is that you can’t put nail paint and your nails look horrible.

What would you like to tell the fans Rashmi about the love and support you are getting from them?
I am really happy because after my entrée the TRP of the shoe went up! Congratulations to all my team members, Shashi- Sumit production, they did so much for the show and are getting an absolutely lovely response. I want to thank you all and whoever is missing the show, please do watch on Sony Sab at 8 pm, Monday to Saturday!
