The latest season of Bigg Boss 19 brought many contestants into the spotlight, and among them, Farrhana Bhatt stood out the most. Her straightforward conversations, honest gameplay, and real persona won the audience’s hearts. Sometimes she was trolled as a villain, sometimes misunderstood by housemates—but in the end, Farrhana emerged as one of the viewers’ favourites. From being targeted on Day 1 to reaching the top, her journey was an emotional roller coaster. The massive love she received after stepping out of the house proved that the real victory is not the trophy, but people’s love. Here’s what she shared in her recent interview…

What do you have to say about the popularity you're receiving after the show?

I had no idea about it. When my mother told me that so many people had become my fans, I realised that the purpose of my journey—winning hearts—was fulfilled. I never focused on the trophy; I only wanted to make a place in people’s hearts, and I achieved that.

Did you expect to reach the Top 2?

Yes, somewhere I did feel that I would go ahead. But winning or losing is always in the hands of the audience. Whether I won the trophy or not, I won people’s love—and for me, that’s the real victory.

What are your thoughts on working in television after Bigg Boss?

If I get an opportunity to work on TV, I will not refuse. If I get a chance to do something good with respect—why not! I believe this is just the beginning for me.

Towards the end of Bigg Boss, things weren’t smooth between you and Tanya. Are things fine now?

Relationships in the house kept changing. In Bigg Boss, mornings are different and evenings are different. But now everything is fine. By the time we came out of the house, we had all become good friends.

Do you feel people sometimes saw you as a villain?

Yes, I knew that many of my decisions wouldn’t be liked by everyone. Some people wanted me to be on their side, some wanted me to step back. So I knew some would label me a “villain”—but every story has a twist, and even a super villain can turn into a superhero in the end.

How did your image gradually change inside the house?

There was a time when almost everyone saw me as a villain. But as housemates started sensing the outside response and realised that people were supporting me, their mindset began to change. Watching this image shift surprised even me.

On the first day, your name was called in the assembly room, and you were immediately evicted. How do you look back at that experience now?

Honestly, I still don’t know why everyone took my name. I was talking normally and politely with everyone, yet they targeted me on the very first day. When I watched my journey, I understood that people got triggered on Day 1 for some reason—but I still don’t know what that reason was.
Being evicted on the first day was painful for me, because I had come all the way from Kashmir. I didn’t know whether people would support me or not. I was scared people would mock me for getting eliminated on the first day. That thought troubled me the most.

What would you like to say about the issues related to Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama?

Just before the weekend, Baseer had said that the three of us would sit down and clear things—but both he and Nehal got evicted. They are very good friends of mine, and they supported me a lot from the outside.

How much does the popularity gained from Bigg Boss mean to you, and what are your future plans?

This popularity means a lot to me. I don’t want big dreams—just the small joys of progressing every week, my family’s support, and staying true to who I am. I don’t want to change myself; I want to remain real. As for the future, my actual journey has just begun. Whatever opportunity I get, I’ll give my 100%. I’ll work with my whole heart and keep moving forward.
