Hema Sharma, the popular content creator known as 'Viral Bhabhi,' has exited the Bigg Boss house. After her departure, she spoke exclusively with MayaPuri Magazine, sharing her experiences during her time in the Bigg Boss house, her bond with Chahat and Vivian, her thoughts on Avinash’s behavior, and her views on the top three contestants.
It was great to see you in Bigg Boss, especially during your time in jail. How was your journey?
Hema: Honestly, I wasn’t happy when I was in jail. I regretted my decision to go there, worrying about what my son and friends would think. I felt trapped. Eventually, I got tempted to return to jail, but after coming out, I started connecting with everyone and building bonds. I feel my time in jail was highlighted more than my experiences outside. People seemed to enjoy my jail journey, where I appeared as a unique personality. I’ve showcased my comedy, emotions, and personal life. In my two weeks, I tried everything—dancing, comedy, and action. I believe I gave my best and fulfilled the expectations for which I was chosen as Viral Bhabhi.
Your eviction surprised everyone. What do you have to say about that?
Hema: Yes, everyone was shocked. No one expected me to leave, not even me. They reassured me that I wouldn’t be evicted, so I relaxed and felt secure. When I got evicted, Arfeen and Avinash were completely taken aback. Everyone thought I’d stay, while those who were doing nothing remained. However, I’m happy with my journey and didn’t leave anyone hurt. My issue with Avinash has resolved. I believe people are discussing how I got evicted.
You didn’t bond much with Chahat, but there seems to be a connection. What do you think?
Hema: Chahat and I had spoken on social media before. She messaged me saying she was a fan, and I replied. Just two days before entering Bigg Boss, we learned we’d be housemates and sent each other heart emojis. When I entered, Chahat welcomed me warmly, which made it easier for me to go to jail.
Who do you see as the strongest contestant in the house right now?
Hema: Right now, I see Chahat as the strongest contestant. She plays the game rightly, standing up for what’s wrong and what’s right. She even argued with Avinash over cooking and ended up preparing food herself.
There was an incident where Chahat threw water on Avinash. What do you think about that?
Hema: Avinash called Chahat uncultured. If someone insults a girl like that, she’s likely to throw something. I would have done the same. I support Chahat; her action was part of her strong gameplay.
There are talks about Avinash's arrogance. What’s your take?
Hema: In two weeks, I understood Avinash’s attitude. If 17 people in the house go one way, he’ll choose to go the other. He doesn’t believe in unity; he’s very self-centered, only caring about himself.
What would you like to say about Vivian, the darling of Colors?
Hema: Vivian is indeed the favorite. When he enters, the atmosphere changes. He’s very intelligent and smart. He treated me well, always calling me 'Hema Ji Ji.' We connected on a personal level, discussing topics like divorce, and he motivated me a lot.
Who do you see in the top three?
Hema: I see Karan, Vivian, and Chahat in the top three. It takes courage to throw water in Bigg Boss; it could have negative consequences. But she showed guts.
What message would you like to convey to your fans?
Hema: I just want to say that I came to Bigg Boss because of you all. Everything I do in the future will be for you. I can’t thank you enough; just know that your support means my growth.
