After the massive success of the previous 3 seasons, Campus Beats Season 4 has finally arrived, and Manasvi Vashist is back in the spotlight, starring in this energetic show. In an exclusive conversation with Maya Puri magazine, Manasvi shared his thoughts on his challenging role, the dancing show, and working with co-actors like Shantanu, among other things. Here's what he had to say:

Manasvi Opens Up About Challenges, Dance Show & Co-Stars

  • Every time we see you, we remember the show Ishq Mein Marjawa, and fans still remember that show and your character. Personally, I would love to know about your experience with that show.

I also feel that Ishq Mein Marjawa is a timeless hit. Honestly, I am still surprised to see that people are still creating fan pages and posting about the show. It’s amazing! I genuinely enjoy watching the posts and the fact that it had such a huge fan following. There was something crazy and intense about that show.

  • Talking about the cast, the off-screen bonding was also quite strong, whether it was with Rahul, Heli, or Chandani. Do you still meet or keep in touch with them?

We’re still very much in touch with each other. We often talk about the fun we had back then. The same kind of energy and camaraderie that I had during Ishq Mein Marjawa is what I got again while shooting for Campus Beats. It was an energetic and fun environment, and I enjoyed working on this show. The vibe was just as lively as it was back on the set of Ishq Mein Marjawa.

  • Campus Beats is a dancing show. Have you ever danced before, and how is your relationship with dancing?

That's a very interesting question. I’m the kind of person who’s always been a bit shy to dance. You know, the one who stands in the corner of the party, avoiding the dance floor? That was me! So when I signed up for this project, I knew I had to play the role of a college guy, and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity. But when I found out I had to dance, I thought, "Oh my God, this is going to be a challenge." I had to start from scratch, and it was a lot of hard work. But it was also a lot of fun because you start seeing yourself improve, and you feel proud. I never knew I could dance before, but now I know that I can!

  • With social media, stars stay connected with their fans. How are you connecting with your fans these days?

I’m receiving a lot of DMs from my fans. They’re constantly asking when I’m coming back, what I’m up to, and they just want to see me on screen again. They’ve been so eager to watch me, and now finally, I’m back! Campus Beats 4 is out now, and I’ve started getting feedback from people who’ve seen the show. Those who’ve known me from my previous shows are saying they’re really enjoying this one too. Now, I’m looking forward to connecting with my new fan base. The last season was a huge success, so I’m hoping for the same kind of love this time.

  • What was your experience working with Shantanu and Shruti?

Shantanu and Shruti are both amazing co-actors. Shantanu is incredibly humble and grounded. When I first met him, I felt like he was just like me, and interestingly, he plays my brother on the show, so our bond was very natural. Shruti, on the other hand, is super bubbly and full of life. She’s a great person to work with, and so is the rest of the cast. It was a great experience working with all of them.

  • You were the lead in Imlie, and after that, you got many good offers on television. Why did you take such a long break and choose to return now with this show?

After Imlie, I received some really good offers because that show was quite popular, and had a huge fanbase. But I knew I wanted to do something different. I decided to take a break and try my hand at web series. It’s not that I don’t want to go back to TV, but I want to explore new types of projects. Working in a web series has been a great learning experience, and I enjoyed that journey.

  • What would you like to say to your fans?

I just want to say to my fans that the moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here! Campus Beats Season 4 is now streaming on MX Player. It’s a fun-filled show with lots of twists and turns. My character is amazing, and the show has romance, drama, and everything you’d expect from a college-based show. You’ll find all the elements of college life in it. So, don’t miss out, watch it, and keep showing your love!

It’s worth mentioning that Manasvi Vashist has made his comeback after a two-year break with Campus Beats Season 4. This show, a romantic dance drama, was released on November 20 on MX Player, and he is already receiving great feedback from fans.
