Karan Vohra as Aryaman in Zee TV's 'Main Hoon Saath Tere'

Karan Vohra, who started his career with Zee TV's show 'Zindagi Ki Mehak', has made a name for himself in the television world with shows like 'Krishna Chali London', 'Pinjra Khoobsurati Ka', and 'Imli'. Let us tell you that Karan will be seen playing the role of Aryaman Bundela in Zee TV's upcoming show 'Main Hoon Saath Tere'. You have played different characters on television, so what are your choices when you agree to do any character?

Yes, there are choices. I make choices because when you work for a daily soap, you have to do this thing every day. Daily soap is not like a web or movie that has to be shot only two days a week. If you have to shoot daily for a daily soap then it should be fun to do. There should be a joy in going to work. That's why I think it is important to have choices in work.

What were your reasons behind doing this show and this character?

The first was the name of this character, Arya. I have recently become the father of two twin boys and the name of my elder son is Arya. This was one of the reasons behind doing this show. The second reason was its story. Its story is very beautiful. If we see any story anywhere, there is a story of two people one is a boy and one is a girl. But the story of this show is the story of a child. A child is looking for a partner for his mother because he sees his mother struggling. How does that child approve of a candidate? And how my character Aryaman goes through the challenge of this child.

How is your off-screen chemistry with Ulka and Kian?

Ulka is a very nice person, she is very friendly. If a person is nice then I connect with him very quickly. Kian is a child, so the experience I have with children in my real life helps me a lot in playing this character. Even off-screen, I behave with her the same way. With him I became a child like him, so he also got connected with me.

How has been your experience of becoming a father in real life?

It has been a very beautiful experience. I cannot express this in words. Some very lucky people get the opportunity to become parents. This is a very beautiful feeling.

You are also going to play the character of a father in the show, who has to pacify a child. What would you like to say about this?

I feel I am very lucky that I have got a chance to do such a show. I feel like this show has come to me because its character's name matches my son's. It seems like this show was made for me. As if God had said that you will do this. Its story is very good. We also have a lot of fun doing scenes. We can connect with this story.

According to you, what is the special thing about this show?

People will be able to connect with this show. For example, my character Aryaman has an incident in his childhood that comes at the cost of his father's respect and he sends him out. He also needs a father's love which he has not been able to get and he craves for it. On the other hand, there is Kian who also does not have a father figure in his life but he needs a partner for his mother because he sees his mother struggling. How Aryaman becomes the person in Kian’s life who can give him the love of a father and can also become the partner for his mother that Kian is looking for.

What would you like to say to your fans?

I would like to tell the fans that just like you have given love to all my shows earlier, you should give the same love to this show. This show is very special. Its story is very good. I hope that you all will like this story.
