He triumphed over Gashmeer Mahajani and Krishna Shroff to take home the trophy. Along with the trophy, Karan received a brand new car and a cash prize of ₹20 lakh. Right now, he is celebrating his victory. After his win, he held a media round where he shared his experiences from "Khatron Ke Khiladi" and also talked about his upcoming song. Let’s see what he had to say. Do you think that if Asim had stayed in the show, he could have been the winner instead of you? Karanveer- Yes, that’s possible. The competition was intense and fierce. Asim was a strong competitor. However, his foolishness and my good luck have placed me in the winner's seat. Did you consider Asim as your only competitor, or were there others as well? Everyone gave you a tough time. Karanveer- It wasn’t just Asim and Gashmeer; I faced competition from everyone. When I gave my first interview, I confidently said I would win. But seeing everyone’s preparation, my confidence wavered because they all came prepared to win the trophy. This batch was focused and determined. They weren’t just satisfied with reaching this point; they were here to win. I believe everyone deserved a chance at the trophy since they were all skilled in different stunts, whether it was with currents, underwater tasks, or heights. But luck was on my side; I excelled in my stunt while my opponent struggled. Which stunt did you find the most dangerous? Karanveer- The one involving electric shocks. People usually come fearless, but I approached it with fear! (laughs) Your name is also being mentioned for Bigg Boss. What are your thoughts on that? Karanveer: Every year my name comes up for Bigg Boss. I’ve seen the promo for this season - "Tandav of Time." I do watch Bigg Boss. Shilpa Shinde was considered weak by many, yet you performed most of the stunts with her. What do you think? Karanveer- Yes, but she is very strong, both mentally and physically. During one stunt, her shoulder dislocated, but she underwent surgery and continued in the game. She’s a tough girl and doesn’t back down from challenges. Krishna was eliminated early but came back with a strong performance. Did you expect her comeback? Karanveer- I did think about it because I had seen many of her videos showcasing her strength. However, she couldn’t handle the current just like I couldn’t. It all depended on the timing of the stunts, which is a matter of luck. If Krishna had come back, she might have won. There was a lot of luck factor with Abhishek, yet he only reached the top 5. What do you think? Karanveer- Yes, his luck only got him to the top 5. My luck seemed to take me further. Do you really think Abhishek advanced because of luck? Karanveer- No, not at all! He worked very hard. Everyone was committed; there was no one who took it lightly. If there was a stunt the next day, everyone made sure to rest early, hit the gym, and prepare. No one was out partying; everyone was serious and focused. Out of all the contestants, who do you think is Bigg Boss material? Karanveer- More than half of them were definitely Bigg Boss material. Apart from the trophy, what else did you bring back from Romania? Karanveer- I made a lot of friends in Romania, from the stunt team to the makeup crew and general staff. They are very similar to Indians—open and humble. I still keep in touch with my physiotherapist, Andria, who sends me pictures of her daughter learning horse riding. How was the care for injuries or electric shocks during the show? Karanveer- In terms of management, the safety measures were top-notch. They design stunts for Tom Cruise, so safety was a priority, but the stunts were tough—electric shocks, working with animals, and snakes were challenging. What have you learned from Rohit Shetty? Karanveer- I've learned everything from him. He is exceptional in his work, scoring 20 out of 20, but in my opinion, he’s even beyond that—22 out of 20! It’s hard to emulate him. You can be a good-looking actor or a player in "Khatron Ke Khiladi" or Bigg Boss, but being a good person is much tougher. I admire his grace and patience; he treats everyone with respect, whether it’s the director or the spot boy. Did you expect Shalin to be among the finalists? Karanveer- Absolutely! His waist size is equal to my thigh size! I expected Shalin to go far, and I had hopes for Gashmeer as well. You get offers from Bigg Boss every year; why do you decline them? Karanveer- I really need my phone. I’ve gotten used to having my own space. My mother is alone in Delhi, my sister is alone in Canada, my brother-in-law is alone in Abu Dhabi, and his mother is alone in Gurgaon. But we still manage to have lunch and dinner together over FaceTime. That’s how we stay connected. In Bigg Boss, that’s not possible. Your look has changed. What’s the reason? Is something new coming up? Karanveer- I have a song coming out sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Jyoti Noor, featuring Sana Makbul. It’s called "Kehna Galat-Galat." Please show it some love! The poster has already been launched. Karanveer Mehra has been active in the TV industry for many years.
