Why did you decide to play Aviraj in ‘Binddii’? What did you find most special about this role?

“The show revolves around a mother-daughter story. The story could have been anything, but what made this character special for me is the complete freedom it offers. In daily soaps, heroes often face limitations—what to say, whom to talk to, what the situation is. But as Aviraj, I can express myself fully and showcase my talent. I have always dreamed of doing a role like this, and now that I got the chance, I’m really enjoying it.

Have you played a grey-shaded or negative role before? How challenging is Aviraj for you?

Aviraj is a completely grey character. He does wrong things, causes harm, and yet doesn’t feel remorse. He only seeks money and power and acts according to his interests when the opportunity arises. He appears to be helped by Dayanand, but in reality, he is dominating him. This character is challenging because it offers flexibility and depth. (Binddii TV show Manav Gohil interview Mayapuri)

Is your character responsible for getting Kajal sent to jail?

As the story progresses, it will gradually reveal the extent of Aviraj’s role. Whether he is directly or indirectly involved will unfold during the show. The character is quite interesting, and all the details will emerge slowly with time. (Exclusive insights from Manav Gohil on Binddii)

How has your shooting experience been, especially with the rest of the cast?

Most of my shoots were with Radhika and Manav. Working with the rest of the cast has also been great. Everyone’s intention is to move the show forward and work seriously for their characters. Nowadays TV shows have a shorter lifespan. How do you see this? How do you maintain confidence?

I believe in focusing on what is in my hands. Doing my work sincerely in front of the camera, portraying my character, and connecting with the audience—that is what I can control. Whether a show succeeds or ends is beyond my control. So, I only focus on my hard work and performance. The love and appreciation from fans is my greatest satisfaction.
