Muskaan Bamne on Bigg Boss: Excited to Meet Salman Khan, Ready to Grow

Muskaan Bamne, who gained recognition for her role as Pakhi in “Anupama,” is currently seen in Bigg Boss. Alongside Muskaan, the season features contestants like Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Sara Afreen Khan, Elis Kaushik, Esha Singh, Karanveer Mehra, Shehzada Dhami, Chahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar, Naira Banerjee, Hemlata Sharma, Shrutika Raj, Chum Darang, Rajat Dalal, Arfeen Khan, and Gunratna Sadawarte. In an exclusive conversation with “Maya Puri Magazine,” Muskaan shared her preparations for Bigg Boss, her fellow contestants, and her thoughts on the experience.

You have played various roles in the TV industry. What were your reasons for choosing Bigg Boss? We heard you wanted to participate in the show.
Muskaan: Yes, I’m very excited! My first reason is that I’ll get to meet Salman Sir. The second reason is that I want to win the love of the people there. I want them to know me for who I am, not just for my character, and I hope for that.

• Staying away from your family for a long time and disconnecting from the world can be difficult. How did you prepare yourself for this show?

Muskaan: Usually, we have our phones, which we want to use all the time. But in the Bigg Boss house, we only have to talk to each other and spend time together. I’ve never been away from my family for this long, so it will be a new experience for me. I want to know what it’s like to be alone. I believe I can grow as a person there.

• You were seen in Anupama, and you look very cute and bubbly in the show. But in a show like this, there are often fights and disagreements. How will you handle such situations?

Muskaan: Everyone has seen me fighting in Anupama. But in Bigg Boss, I want to be myself. This show will help me understand what I’m comfortable with and how I will react in different situations. It will be a completely new experience for me.

• How many seasons of Bigg Boss have you watched before?

Muskaan: I’ve seen bits and pieces of Bigg Boss. I haven’t watched it completely. But yes, I have seen episodes with Shehnaaz. She entertained people a lot, and her journey is very inspiring.

• Salman Khan’s hosting style is loved by everyone. How excited are you to meet him?

Muskaan: People say Salman Khan is Bigg Boss. I’m very excited to meet him. I’ve been watching his movies for a long time. Meeting him in real life is a big deal for me, and I’m really happy about it.

• Do you know anything about the other contestants?

Muskaan: I don’t know anything. I don’t even know their names. I have no idea who is coming and who isn’t.

• You’ll have to do tasks in the show. Are there any tasks you would like to avoid?

Muskaan: I can handle all the tasks, but I would like to avoid cleaning the bathroom.

• As you’re entering the Bigg Boss house, what are your plans regarding your game?

Muskaan: I don’t have any plans. It depends on the situation. I just want to remain true to myself.

• If someone pokes you during the show, what will you do?

Muskaan: If someone pokes me, I will respond, but I won’t be rude.

• If someone extends a hand of friendship towards you in the show, would you be open to making friends?

Muskaan: Yes, I’m ready to make friends—friends who stick around for a long time. But I am a bit introverted, so it takes me some time to open up.

Before her prominent role in the blockbuster TV show "Anupama," which has shattered TRP records, Muskaan also showcased her talent in "Super Sisters" and "Bakula Ka Bhoot." Additionally, she made her mark in the Bollywood film "Haseena Parker."
