Naagin 7: Eisha Singh Shares Her Journey, Role, and On-Screen Bond with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary

Popular television actress Eisha Singh is once again making a strong return on Colors TV. Having won hearts with her candid and lively persona in ‘Sirf Tum’, ‘Bigg Boss’, and the recently aired reality show ‘Laughter Chefs’, Eisha is now part of television’s biggest and most iconic franchise show, ‘Naagin 7’. Produced by Balaji Telefilms under Ekta Kapoor, this mega show will present Eisha in a completely new avatar. In an exclusive chat with Mayapuri journalist Shilpa Nalamwar, Eisha opened up about joining Naagin, the grandeur of the story, her fan following, and the double entertainment package with Laughter Chefs. Here’s what she had to say:

How special is it for you to join a big franchise like ‘Naagin’?

Naagin is a huge franchise, and being associated with it is a big deal in itself. I feel that somewhere deep down, every actor wishes to be a part of Naagin because the show has consistently performed well. The seventh season is proof of that. I’m truly happy to be part of this show.

Your association with Colors TV goes a long way. How do you see this relationship?

Colors feels like home to me. I jokingly say that I’m Colors’ daughter. My journey began here, and returning to the same channel as part of a show like Naagin 7 is very emotional and special for me.

You are shown as sisters in the show. How is your on-screen and off-screen bond with Priyanka?

Our bond is beautiful both on-screen and off-screen. When you watch the show, you’ll clearly see the love between the sisters. Off-screen too, there’s the same warmth and care. The relationship feels very natural.

The story of ‘Naagin 7’ looks quite different this time. What would you like to say about it?

Whenever Ekta ma’am writes Naagin, it’s always on a different level. This time, the show isn’t limited to just drama, romance, or revenge. There’s a lot that’s new. The introduction of dragons is something we’ve never seen before. The use of graphics and AI is also at a very high level. That’s why Naagin always remains Naagin.

Your fan following has always stood by you. What would you like to say to them?

My fans are like family to me. Even when people weren’t very kind, my fans stood by me. They supported me, protected me, and loved me unconditionally. I’ll always be grateful to them. That’s why I’m confident they’ll shower the same love on Naagin 7 as well.

Your chemistry with Vivian Dsena in ‘Laughter Chefs’ is being widely appreciated. How did this bond form?

Vivian and I are working together on the same channel for the third time. We were very close during Bigg Boss and had our own group. Now, in Laughter Chefs, we’re partners—and it’s a lot of fun. I trouble Vivian a lot, and he knows it well. He’s one of my own people.

You are continuously working with Colors and Balaji. How do you see this association?

I consider myself very lucky. This is my second project with a big production house like Balaji Telefilms. Ekta ma’am works with great detail. There are so many actors in the industry who wish to work with Balaji, and I got this opportunity—I’m truly grateful to God for it.

How different is your character in ‘Naagin 7’?

This character is a bit stylish and has an attitude. She knows she looks good. I felt something different about this role, which is why I said yes without thinking too much. When audiences watch the show, they’ll understand for themselves what’s new in it.

What are your expectations from the audience regarding ‘Naagin 7’?

The way audiences have showered love on Laughter Chefs, I hope they give the same love to Naagin 7. The show premieres on 27 December, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM, only on Colors TV. I’m eagerly waiting for the audience’s response.

What message would you like to give to the viewers?

I promise double entertainment to my audience—Naagin 7 from 8 PM to 9 PM, followed by Laughter Chefs from 9 PM to 10 PM. Both shows together will offer complete entertainment.
