Naira Banerjee Calls Bigg Boss 18 Eviction Unfair, Reveals Secrets Interview: Naira Banerjee Reveals Secrets of Housemates After Exiting Bigg Boss 18 says My Eviction Was Unfair- Naira Banerjee By Bollyy 29 Oct 2024 in Interview New Update Listen to this article 0.75x 1x 1.5x 00:00 / 00:00 Follow Us Share "Bigg Boss 18" has become a favorite among viewers, with increasing tasks and fierce competition among contestants. The show has seen its third eviction and strong contender Naira Banerjee has been shown the door. As soon as she stepped out, Naira began to expose the secrets of her fellow housemates and even addressed the rumors surrounding the alleged affair between Esha Singh and Avinash Mishra. How did you feel when you came out? Did you think your eviction was fair? Naira responded, “As soon as I stepped out, I was overwhelmed by the love I received. People understood who I really am. My true personality was visible to the audience in Bigg Boss, and I’m glad I exited with a positive image. I feel sad that in the third week, when I was just getting into my groove, I was evicted. I had formed strategies and built good relationships, even with the opposing group. I performed well in tasks and showcased a different side of myself. Unfortunately, I was nominated by a few people who gave very fake and silly reasons. I couldn’t escape it because I was up against three strong contestants who had a better grasp of the game from the beginning. I didn’t realize I needed to be aggressive right from day one.” Naira, regarding your gameplay, some viewers felt you were slow. We thought you would dominate everyone. What was happening with you in the Bigg Boss house? Naira clarified, “That’s not my nature. I’m not one to throw accusations at others and start fights. If someone had briefed me beforehand that this is an attack game and I needed to push my way through, I would have thought this game wasn't for me. I was repeatedly told not to worry about watching Bigg Boss and to just be myself. When you enter a new environment, it takes a week or two to understand the people around you and to find your vibe—this is a natural process. That’s what happened with me. By the third week, I finally understood everything and started playing my game, but that’s when I was evicted.” Naira's reflections highlight her disappointment over leaving just as she was beginning to navigate the competitive landscape of the show. Her experience illustrates the complexities of adapting to the dynamics within the Bigg Boss house. In the first week, Salman Khan criticized you throughout the weekend, and you received warnings. Do you think you were too late to engage, as you only started showing up in the third week? What do you have to say about that? Naira replied, “In the beginning, I didn’t fully understand the game. Sharing my opinion doesn’t mean I have to shout to be heard. My approach is different; I prefer to discuss things calmly, sitting next to someone. People perceived me as dominating. When I set the rules for the kitchen or the bathroom, why didn’t anyone challenge me? Why didn’t anyone oppose me or tell me that I had no right to dictate to others? Why didn’t anyone confront me? Yet, everyone kept listening to what I had to say.” What were your emotional thoughts when you stepped out of the house? Why do you think you were evicted so soon? “I felt disappointed when I came out because all the fun, enjoyment, and chaos I experienced in the house weren’t shown in the episodes. Initially, I didn’t know anyone’s true character, but once I started seeing their real faces, I knew who I needed to eliminate. I didn’t face any issues; everyone just accepted what I said. I neither challenged anyone nor did anyone challenge me.” Naira’s insights reflect her struggle to balance her natural demeanor with the aggressive gameplay often required in the Bigg Boss environment. Her observations about her relationships within the house and the dynamics at play provide a deeper understanding of her experience. Don’t you think Chahat is playing well? No one knew her before, but from what we see, she seems to be doing great. Naira responded, “Chahat is often quiet and doesn’t engage much. For instance, during the bed incident with Vivian, she didn’t speak up until he got angry. She primarily defends herself rather than sharing her opinions. When the food issue arose, she didn’t join the hunger strike with us or even discuss it, which led to an argument between us that wasn’t shown in the episodes.” Many relationships are forming in the house. What do you think about the dynamics between Esha and Avinash, or between you and Shahzada? “I see some potential between Karanveer and Chum, but honestly, none of these relationships seem genuine. Esha and Rajat have developed a brother-sister bond, and Rajat trusts Esha, but she often makes negative comments. The day Rajat realizes this, it’ll be an eye-opener for him. He’s already shown some upset moments regarding Karanveer, indicating some friction.” How do you view Rajat’s ranking in the house, especially after his comments when asked about sharing food in jail? “I find Rajat to be a bit of a dictator. He openly stated that if someone makes a mistake, he would punish them for hours. That reflects his true nature. During tasks, I noticed his impulsive behavior, which isn’t what a good leader should exhibit.” What are your thoughts on Esha, Eliz, and Avinash's gang? What would you call them? “I used to call their group ‘Cinderella Sisters,’ but now I see them more as gossiping aunts. They’re constantly plotting. Their friendship is interesting, but I wish I had formed a similar bond in the house.” There was talk of you possibly joining Esha and Eliz’s group. Would you have done that? “During the time SARA and Bagga were in jail, there was a lot of strategizing about our alliances. I initially had a strong bond with Shahzada, and we discussed forming a coalition to counter their plans. It was all very subtle, but we had our own strategy in place.” Who do you think is playing the real vs. fake cards in the house? “Shilpa seems quite fake to me, while Bagga is more reserved. Shilpa plays the victim card to stay safe, as Vivian leads one gang, Karan leads another, and she’s caught in between without a strong will to fight.” Vivian is seen as the favorite of the house. What do you think about that? “Vivian is definitely favored in the house, having done multiple successful shows on Colors. He is currently in a very safe position.” Who do you see in the top 5? “I think Vivian has a strong chance, and I would have allied with Avinash and Vivian if I were still there. Karanveer and Rajat also have a shot at the top 5.” There are rumors that your early exit might be related to your upcoming projects. How true is that? “It’s true that I have a film and a web series coming out in January, but that’s not why I left the show. My eviction was unfair, and I had no intention of leaving the house.” Naira’s insights provide a glimpse into the complex dynamics of Bigg Boss and her perspective on the relationships and strategies at play. Her upcoming projects also hint at an exciting future for her beyond the show.
