As an actress, makeup becomes a part of your daily routine. So, how is your relationship with makeup?
In the beginning, when I started my career, I didn’t do my own makeup. But gradually I learned and now I love doing my own makeup. Yes, daily makeup for shoots can feel a bit tiring, but honestly, I enjoy it a lot. Whatever look you see on me—I’ve done it myself. (Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile episodes)

Kajal or eyeliner?
Kajal, any day. I feel my eyes look better with kajal. And whenever I don’t apply it, people ask—“Have you been crying?” So definitely kajal!

Blush or highlighter?
Blush. Because it makes the face look fresh and pretty. Highlighter isn’t a necessity, the real glow should always come from within.

Lip balm or lip tint?
Lip balm, any day. Lip tint was a trend, but I feel lip balm is the real essential. People use lip tint on lips, nose, even cheeks, but I don’t like using one product in multiple ways again and again.

Nude lipstick or bright lipstick?
Brownish nude lipstick. Though today I’m wearing pink, my personal favorite is brown nude.

Compact powder or loose powder?
Compact. Earlier, I used loose powder, but someone suggested a compact would suit my skin better. And it really does. (Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile promo video)

Open hair or tied hair?
Open hair. I feel they suit me better. Also, tied hair gives me a headache after some time, so I prefer leaving them open.

Heels or flats?

Makeup on, any day. Even a “no makeup” look is makeup in itself. I love carrying myself in a prettier way.
