By Bollyy 20 Dec 2023 in Interview New Update Follow Us Share Nikitin Dheer made his debut with the film 'Jodha Akbar'. For your information, let us tell you that Nikitin has worked in many Telugu films along with Hindi. Nikitin became famous by playing the character of Thangabali in the film Chennai Express. Nikitin has worked in many films like 'Ready', 'Dabangg 2', and 'Suryavanshi'. Apart from films, Nikitin has also done TV shows like 'Naagin 3', and 'Ishqbaaaz'. Now Nikitin will be seen in the role of Ravana in the upcoming show 'Shrimad Ramayana'. Let us tell you how excited Nikitin is for this new character... This time you are going to be seen in a different style, what was your reaction when you came to know that you are playing the character of Ravana? I think it is a great privilege to get this kind of opportunity. I feel honored that Siddharth thought that I could play this character. I think playing the character of Ravana is like a dream for any actor. Ravana's emotions are very high. It is a big thing for an actor to get such an opportunity and you get a chance to show what you can do as an actor. My father has done many historical shows, my wife has also done Jhansi Ki Rani, now I can also say that I have also done something. I also did the film Jodha Akbar. I am very excited to do this role. What kind of preparation have you done for the role of Ravana? Siddharth told me to prepare for this in my way. He just told me that I would like it if my Ravana had a beard. For this, I also increased my weight a little because in those days, six-pack abs were not in fashion and those people used big weapons, so it was natural for them to be a little heavier and bigger. The way Siddharth has thought and written this character is very clear. This is enough for me, I just have to come to the set, do my work, and leave. To prepare for the role of Ravana, did you watch any other such characters? No, because I feel that every actor has his method, and if you take too many references to prepare for a character, your original method gets buried somewhere. I respect everyone who has played this character, and I have tried my best to give my best to this character. Swastik Productions is TV's biggest production, how do you feel working with them now? I met Siddharth when he was making Mahabharata, I gave an audition. After that, he chose me for the role of Arjun but later he asked me for the role of Karna and I said yes. But the show got delayed a bit and I did some other show. In these years, there were probably five such occasions where I was supposed to be a part of Swastik production but it did not happen. I am happy that when I finally got a chance to do this, I was doing such a great character. Siddharth and I were always in touch, and I have been a big fan of his work. Even after so much success, he still has a passion that inspires others too. This is my first project with Swastik, and I am enjoying working with them. They are very good people, they know what they are doing, as an actor you have to trust them. Would you like to say something about the upcoming show 'Indian Police Force' that you are also a part of? I have a different take on it. The show will come on January 19. What would you like to say to your fans? I would just like to say thank you for giving me so much love and blessings over so many years. Now I will be seen in front of you as Ravana in Ramayana. I hope that you like our Shrimad Ramayana. Please take a look, I hope you will like it. Tags : nikitin-dheer | jodha-akbar Read also: Birthday Special Om Prakash: Angrej Vaakee Laajavaab Hain ...
