Pyaar Ki Raahein - Interview with Manav Dua

Popular TV actor and Ye Dil Maange More star, Manav Dua, is currently seen in Dangal TV’s show Pyaar Ki Raahein. In the show, he stars alongside actress Rachanaa Parulkar. The show is produced by Balaji Telefilms under the leadership of Ekta Kapoor. Recently, Manav gave an interview to Maya Puri magazine, where he shared his thoughts on his character, Balaji Telefilms, and the show's storyline. Let’s dive into what he had to say.

Your new show Pyaar Ki Raahein  is produced by Balaji Telefilms, and it revolves around the stories of four people. What would you like to say about the show?

 This is my first show airing on Dangal TV, and it airs from Monday to Saturday at 7 PM. I would love for you all to watch it and give us your love and time.

I’m really grateful and excited to be a part of this show. It feels special because this is the first time Balaji has given me a lead role, and I couldn’t be happier. After about 20 days of shooting, I feel like I’m the only one who can play Rudra Shekhawat in a positive light. I say this because I need to convince myself that I am the best person for this role.

This is my third show with Balaji. I’ve previously worked on Ye Dil Maange More and Naagin 6, and now I’m working on Pyaar Ki Raahein. The best part about this character is that it has so many shades and a huge backstory, which I am personally exploring. Everyone is watching the show, so I believe they’re enjoying it!

What do you think is the unique aspect of this show?

What’s special about the show is that it’s very relatable to real life. Misunderstandings in relationships are a common thing. Sometimes we misunderstand things—what someone says, how we interpret it, and how we respond. Rudra, as a character, is someone who reacts quickly. He doesn’t think, he just acts. But once he acts, it creates problems for both him and his family. The interesting part is that Rudra wasn’t always like this; he became this way. To understand the entire story, you’ll have to watch our show.

When two people with contrasting personalities come together, the audience loves it. What do you think about the chemistry between Rudra and Priya?

As we’ve heard, people with contrasting personalities are often attracted to each other. In our show, Priya is marrying Rudra, and this marriage is a compromise for her. On the other hand, Rudra believes that every girl is after money. Everyone wants the kind of lifestyle that he can offer to a woman. But the interesting thing is that Priya is not that kind of girl. In the show, the chemistry between Priya and Rudra will be filled with both hatred and love, but there will definitely be love too.
