Rachanaa Parulkar, who became popular for her role as Maharani Ajabdeh Panwar in Sony TV's Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, is currently seen in Dangal TV's show Pyaar Ki Raahein She stars alongside Manav Dua in the show, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. Recently, Rachanaa gave an interview to Maya Puri magazine, where she opened up about the show's storyline, her character, Balaji Telefilms, her chemistry with Manav, and her experience working on the show. You’re in the lead role in Dangal TV’s Pyaar Ki Raahein, and it’s produced by Balaji Telefilms. What would you like to say about it?
I am very happy and grateful. Everyone loves working with Balaji. I’m really enjoying this journey. Dangal TV is a very prestigious channel with many great shows, and Pyaar Ki Raahein is bringing even more sparkle to the channel.
Pyaar Ki Raahein is creating difficulties for Priya and Rudra. What would you like to say about this?
Pyaar Ki Raahein is different for Priya and Rudra. You’ll get to see how our paths either connect or don’t in the future. Also, I should mention that this story has many layers. As things unfold, you’ll enjoy watching it.
How much have you enjoyed playing Priya so far?
I’m thoroughly enjoying playing Priya. Priya is a very bubbly and cheerful girl. She’s full of self-respect. While Rachanaa is also self-respecting, there are no other similarities between her and Priya. That’s what makes playing Priya so fun because it’s challenging and a great experience.

What would you say about the relationship between Priya and Rudra?
Priya and Rudra are deep and intense characters in their own ways. When these two intensities collide, there’s a lot of explosive romance and drama. This is exactly what’s happening in our show, and I’m sure the audience will love it.
There’s a wedding scene going on right now, and this is your Mehendi look. Could you tell us about how the entire look was designed?
My creative team consists of Foram, Shreya, and Lakshmi. They are the ones who design the entire look, and we as actors follow it. I am very grateful because since the beginning of this show, I’ve been really happy with the clothes and looks I’ve been given. This is the Mehendi outfit.
Of all the outfits and jewelry you’ve worn so far, do you have a favorite look?
I’ve loved every look. Every color they’ve given me is beautiful. As a person, I believe in “less is more.” I like simplicity, and I’m very happy with the look that I’ve been given.
What kind of response have you received from the promos so far?
We’ve been receiving a very positive response from the audience. People are really enjoying the chemistry between Priya and Rudra, as well as the story of Anjali and ruhaan. The audience has embraced all four of our stories. Additionally, I’ve been getting great reviews and comments on social media, and the media plays a big role in spreading the word and connecting us with the audience.
What’s your opinion on the show’s time slot?
The 7 PM time slot is great. It’s a time when people are usually at home and can easily watch the show. And if someone misses it at 7 PM, they can watch the repeat telecast at 10:30 PM.
What message would you like to give to your fans?
