Sakshi Pradhan Stars in Alt Balaji's Suspense Thriller 'Qatil Haseena'

Sakshi, who started her television career by becoming the winner of MTV Splitsvilla 2, later became a part of Bigg Boss Season 4. What kind of response is the trailer getting?

Everyone is very excited and eager to know how many murders I have committed in the show and whose murders have I done.

How much hard work did you have to put in for this character?

My casting for this series was done just a few days before the shooting, and hence everything happened in a hurry. As soon as the producer of this series Sagar called me, I asked him to send the script. I sat all night and read the script and I found the story very interesting. My character's name is Shanaya and this character is so versatile that the audience is confused as to how many characters Shanaya has in this series. 'Qatil Haseena' is a confusing thriller show.

What did you find the most challenging in playing this character?

The challenge comes when you get into a character who is violent and Shanaya is a character who is taking revenge. It was challenging to portray what Shanaya does to take revenge.

Have you ever taken revenge from anyone in real life or thought about taking revenge?

No, I would be the last person who would think about taking revenge or take revenge from anyone. If I start thinking about taking revenge, I would have to make a long list. The thing is that I am a spiritual girl and hence I believe in doing your duty and forget the rest because God will take care of the person who has done wrong to you.

How were you approached for this show and how did you get this show? Tell us about it.

This film has been directed and produced by Ramsay Brothers. The producer of the series Sagar called me for this and he told me that I will get to do action and a lot more in it. When he told me the concept and the title of the series, I asked him for its script. I sat all night and read the script and the next day I said yes to the show. When I asked him about its shooting, he told me that its shooting was after four days.

You started your journey with Splitsvilla, how many changes have you seen in yourself during this journey?

Lots of changes, I am not the same Sakshi who was in Splitsvilla. Because I am a learner and I have also traveled a lot, so I have learned a lot and accordingly I have changed myself for the better. I am hungry for positivity, wherever I see good and positive people, I make friends with them and wherever I feel even a little negativity, I leave from there. How do you manage to stay so positive in this industry?

Not everyone wants to be a commercial hit. I have done 16 OTT shows, two travel shows, hosted three MTV shows and I have just finished an international Hollywood film with Frank Grillo and Michael Jai White. I am not a person who has to do a lot, I am working, earning money and I am happy. I believe that whatever is destined for me, I will do it well because whatever is written in my fate, I will get it. Now that I am 30 years old, I want to balance my life because I am still looking for life.

You have been a part of Bigg Boss 4, so will you be seen in Bigg Boss OTT?

For me, never now because I don't want to do reality shows. I want to focus on my acting and maybe I will also produce in the future.

There is a craze for 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' right now, would you like to do this show if you get a chance?

I would like to do 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. I also pay attention to fitness, so I think I can do well in the show. I am just scared of spiders.

You said that you changed your life due to some things, what was the reason, would you like to tell something about it?

Right now my life is a little vulnerable because my mother passed away a few months ago. After that, a very different phase of life is going on. I will not be able to describe my life after my mother's death in words. That is also why I have become a little more mature in myself. Now I and my cat are together.

What would you like to say to your fans and viewers?

I want to say that I work hard, love people and animals, and sympathize with them.
