We all desire to look fairer after applying makeup, hoping that our skin appears brighter and lighter. In this interview, she opened up about her makeup routine, and favorite beauty products, and shared valuable beauty tips with her fans. Here's what she had to say: What do you think about makeup? Do you like wearing makeup? As an actress, makeup is essential for the camera; it's a part of our daily work life. However, in my personal life, I don’t enjoy heavy makeup. I prefer light, subtle makeup, like just a little bit of kajal, lipstick (which I really love), and applying nail paint. I also love matching my nails with my outfit. That’s pretty much what I do. Usually, when we spend 12-14 hours in front of the camera, makeup is unavoidable. But when I’m out on a personal outing or just going somewhere where makeup isn't required, I prefer not to wear it. Going makeup-free is also good for your skin, and it gives you a sense of lightness. It feels good to let your skin breathe." After this, Mayapuri’s journalist Shilpa Patil played a fun rapid-fire round with Ambhavna, asking her to choose between two beauty products. Here’s how she responded: Kajal or Liner?Kajal. I actually use kajal as my eyeliner too, so it works for me and is the easiest option. Blush or Highlighter?Blush. Blush not only enhances your face shape but also serves multiple purposes. I believe blush can solve a lot of problems, so definitely blush for me. Lip Balm or Lip Tint?Lip Balm. It keeps your lips moisturized and soft. It's like a 'one-man army' when it comes to lip care. Compact Powder or Loose Powder?Compact Powder. I can never get loose powder right; it tends to scatter everywhere, and I’m not very good at applying it. Open Hair or Tied Hair?Open Hair. I genuinely prefer open hair because tying it creates pressure on my head and pulls my hair, which feels uncomfortable. But my mom says I look better with tied hair! Heels or Flats?Flats! Flats are so comfortable, while heels feel like a punishment. I really don’t understand why they were invented. What beauty tips would you like to share with your fans?"I've noticed that many people make the mistake of not choosing the right base shade. Your base shade should match your natural skin tone for a glow, and it will make your facial features look beautiful. In Indian society, there’s a strong obsession with fairness, and many people want to look lighter after applying makeup. But if you are going down that path, remember, you have to do your entire body. It’s not just your face that should look fair; your neck and hands should blend in too. So when you go to buy makeup products, always choose your actual skin tone, not just fairness. If you want to look brighter, use bronzer and highlighter. These products will give you a natural glow and highlight your features beautifully. And trust me, this will look fantastic, especially when you're taking pictures, making reels, or shooting videos. So, always choose shades that suit your own skin tone, not someone else’s." Makeup On or Makeup Off?Makeup Off! A little moisturizer, compact powder, kajal, and lipstick—that’s it. These are also makeup products, but nowadays makeup has become so much more, and I feel this is more like "makeup off" for me."
