Mayapuri Magazine has been entertaining Bollywood lovers for the last 50 years and has fond memories of many people. Talking about it, actress Shruti Ulfat says, “I remember about Mayapuri magazine. I was very young at that time but I remember Mayapuri used to come to our house. I remember at that time, the pictures of all the people who were doing Bollywood films used to appear on the cover page of Mayapuri magazine. Whatever character he portrayed in his films, the same look was seen on the cover page of Mayapuri. We were very young but I remember this magazine was read by our mother and aunt who used to come to our house in Dehradun.”

Shruti Ulfat is on cloud nine

Were there any actors whose pictures you liked seeing or reading about in magazines?

I was very young at that time. We did not read magazines but used to read books. If I tell you the truth, I was more interested in sports, so I used to study Sports Star. But I remember we used to sit and look at the photos of heroes and heroines in magazines. I have not read much Mayapuri magazine but I remember this magazine used to be in our house.
