Your new music album “Qayamat” has been released. What would you like to say about it? How was your shooting experience?

“Qayamat” is a very peppy, trendy, and energetic song. It has a strong vibe, great groove, and amazing chemistry. The entire shooting atmosphere was very positive and full of energy. It’s the kind of song you can play in clubs and dance your heart out to. I want people to remember this song till Qayamat.

What makes “Qayamat” different from other music albums?

Nowadays, music videos are either just hot item numbers or purely love songs. But Qayamat has everything—love, hotness, chemistry, and a complete party feel. Also, this is my first music video released on a big and authentic platform like Eros Now, which makes it extremely special for me.

You have worked in projects like Gandii Baat, Utha Patak, House of Lies, and Picture Abhi Baaki Hai. How different was the experience of doing a music album?

In web series, you get time to build and explore a character, whereas in a music video you have to express emotions, dance, and screen presence in a very short time. Qayamat gave me the opportunity to present myself in a fresh, energetic, and new avatar, and I am truly happy about that.

You have also worked with Elvish Yadav and Yo Yo Honey Singh. How was your experience with them?

The experiences were completely different but equally amazing. The reality show I did with Elvish Yadav became quite viral. The event I hosted with Yo Yo Honey Singh also gained a lot of popularity. As an artist and entertainer, my goal is always that my work reaches people and creates buzz.

Who inspires you in the industry? Which actors do you follow?

I am deeply inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan. Her beauty, attitude, bubbliness, and sexiness—everything about her is incredible. When bubbliness and sexiness come together, that’s Kareena Kapoor. Although her journey and mine are very different—she comes from a privileged background and I am a complete outsider—but I truly admire her performances and screen presence.

Would you like to share a dialogue of Kareena Kapoor?

Of course. I love her character Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. My friends often say there are many similarities between Poo and me.
The dialogue goes: “Kaun hai jisne mujhe mud kar nahi dekha?… Kaun hai?”

Looking back at your journey, what has been your biggest learning so far?

My journey has been very challenging. As an outsider, opportunities are limited and struggles are many in Mumbai. I was typecast initially, but I never gave up. My biggest learning is to believe in yourself and keep working hard consistently.

What kind of projects would you like to do in the future—music, web series, or films?

I want to work across all mediums. My upcoming Hindi film is “Unwanted Gift”, where I will be seen playing the character of Laila. Apart from that, I am also doing a serious crime-thriller web series. Audiences will continue to see me in glamorous yet strong roles.

Who all are on your wish list—directors and actors you want to work with?

Among directors, I would love to work with Anees Bazmee and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Among actors, Salman Khan and Kartik Aaryan are on my wish list.
In music, collaborating on a music video with Yo Yo Honey Singh is a dream.

Mayapuri Magazine has completed more than 50 years. What are your thoughts about it?

I have heard about Mayapuri Magazine since childhood. It is a magazine connected with multiple generations. Being associated with such a prestigious and experienced platform makes me feel proud.

What message would you like to give to your fans and audience?

I would request everyone to watch my song “Qayamat”, share it, and create reels on it. Tag us and help make it a super hit. Your love and support are my biggest strength.
