Is OMG 2's controversy a back door attempt to create buzz for stardom?

"Anything can happen in Bollywood! Maybe Akshay Kumar, a loyalist of politics, himself created the censor controversy of his film OMG 2 Through the back door!" This response is from Jiteshwari Anand, a social worker of the Congress wing, who is the Vice President of Women and Child Welfare. And, a similar discussion is coming to many ever since the teaser of Akshay Kumar's film 'Oh My God 2' has been released. It is understood that the censor rejection of the film OMG 2 and sending the film to the review committee could be a part of a publicity stunt. Akshay has so much hold in the political corridors that he can create controversies for the promotion of the film from the backdoor.

To recover from his continuous flop films, Akshay has got hope from the film based on Lord Shiva and Akshay Kumar has now gone to the shelter of Lord Shiva. Someone has rightly commented - "Akshay Kumar's eyes have opened, save Bhole!" It seems that Bhole is the only support to save his sinking career.

It is necessary to mention here that in the year 2022, all the films of Akshay have gone in loss. He had said that the year 2023 would be for his films but nothing like that happened. His films are flopping line by line and giving losses. These films are- 'Selfie' 'Raksha Bandhan', 'Ram Setu', 'Samrat Prithviraj', 'Bachchan Pandey' etc. Many of these films have proved to be a disaster. It is said that when the producers had signed Khiladi Kumar for these films, then his market rate was on the rise. Then Akshay used to be in the news for taking 100 crores to 150 crores for a film. His continuous fall is the result of the market. It is being told that he has done OMG 2 in just 35 crores.

If 'Oh My God 2' does not work out, it will definitely be a big blow to his stardom. According to unconfirmed reports, OMG 2 is a sex education film. Obviously, there will be more attraction in the youth section to watch the film. Akshay Kumar stars as Lord Shiva in the film who helps college principal Kanti Bhushan Mudgal (Pankaj Tripathi) who is a proponent of sex education. The heroine Yami Gautam plays the role of a lawyer in the film i.e. no romantic angle has been kept for the aging Akshay Kumar. The way Akshay became Krishna in OMG 1, similarly Shiva is in OMG 2. Now how much Lord Bholenath helps Akshay, it will be known only after the release of the film (August 11). At the moment, it seems that Akshay must be thinking - "Save Bhole!!"
