While we cannot wait for the world to open and start functioning soon, actor Sudipto Balav says that it is equally important to be patient. The actor says that it is only then that we will be able to function efficiently once everything opens. “As the TV, film, events and the entire entertainment industry is a source of livelihood for millions of people across the globe, once the industry starts functioning, it will start providing livelihood to many but keeping the pandemic in mind, whatever are the safety precautions, guidelines, restrictions given by the local authorities, governments and WHO have to be followed. Whatever measures are being taken is for a larger goal and to save each and every precious life. So, I think whatever rules, regulations come in, it is an individual responsibility to abide by it,’ he says.

The actor says that it is tough for everyone to maintain social distancing for a long time though. “I understand that social distancing is the new normal. But to be very frank and honest, human beings are pack animals and it’s just the matter of time that the pack is going to reunite,” he says.Well, there are a lot of actors who have been trying to motivate people y their posts on social media. They have been posting pictures of themselves working out or cleaning or cooking.

However, Sudipto says that is not very fond of such posts. “Once again, to each his own. Social media is a very open platform, so people, actors, celebrities are free to post what they want. As far as my own thing is concerned, I have always been a very private person, so if you go on any of my social media pages, you would not see anything which is personal that I have brought out to the world. I try and keep that wall of privacy around me,” he says.
